Posted by blackphaseexactly!! on the warning signs and the city can't afford to put up those signs after those deaths? Where's the animal activists on this??
Wow that's pretty crazy.. and yeah the first few reasons they gave for this happening made NO sense to me at all either.. Scent could tie in. I was leaning towards spirits though actually. I walk in lots of parks and in the country with my dog where there are tons of scents of the wildlife nearby and it doesn't effect him in a way that would cause something like this. The park I go to has quite a few bridges as there are Falls that run through it, and I also live near a river with a large bridge that we often go to.
Odd that there aren't signs though, you are right. And pretty dumb for people to not leash their dog if they are aware. I'd never let my dog near anything known to have spooky happenings such as that.

Posted by blackphasePosted by lisabethur8That is a really interesting story and theory.. more believable to me than any other theories they come up with though. I think there is a tie with that little boy.. could be so many reasons why.. I could speculate many things, but not for sure.Posted by blackphaseexactly!! on the warning signs and the city can't afford to put up those signs after those deaths? I really do think so too, that it's the spirits, not the smell. Something tragic must have happened there in the past
although I did look up and saw that this crazy man in the past thought his little boy was the devil (although sounds like mental illness) and threw him over the bridge and he tried to commit suicide
"In October 1994, a man named Kevin Moy threw his two-week-old son to his death from the bridge because he believed that his son was an incarnation of the Devil. He then attempted to commit suicide several times, first by attempting to jump off the bridge, later by slashing his wrists.[8]

what do you all think it is? the sense of smell for the dogs? why didn't the owners keep them on a leash, especially if they knew the dogs before had been committing suicide?
and why didn they have SIGNS of WARNINGS out after it happened a dozen times?
