Why do you bother your head with such thoughts? If i had a fancy car like yours i would drive around and let the wind wush in my hair and be very happy. It's a bit of an ugly car but since it's roofless who cares!

Now THIS is a swish car!

I love Saabs.

Hawking was on Newsnight yesterday. His protuding teeth distracted me from fully listening to him answer the questions viewers had emailed in. Something about other universes and not being able to fully dispute the existence of a creator. I could have said that myself and i don't need a chalk board or a xylophone. Simplicity is worth nowt these days. He does have a killer smile, i'll give him that.

If the big bang was created out of nothing due to the theory that the omnipresence of spontaneity is only mere illusions and if an illusion only forces pushing into a set structure of nothing made by nothing and formed by nothing. What if this nothingness can be manipulated and can rejuvenate miniature big bang experiences in a micro-level that expands into these other notions of nothing? What if, during this instant, we are only one form of nothing that is inside of another form of nothing that is creating another nothing?

Example-imagine zooming out of yourself into space into deep space and picture zooming out of another form of nothing (in this case particles such as Quarks) to build another nothing.

It\'ll be like a taco bell inside of a pizza-hut inside of a outlet mall inside of a super-mall outside of alternative outlets. >=D

That is a lot of shopping centers damnit!

Nothing - universe/dimensions/alternate existence/illusion/presence of each demographic bang and other bang theories.

here is an old greek philosophy...If there is a cause of the world, it cannot be one of the objects in the world-that collection of things no one of which is the cause itself. Then it must be radically different from those objects. Then it cannot be material.

we mere humans will never know. think about hypatia whom at her time was considered a mockery of christianity and at those very moments her ideals were fantastical.

however, she is now remember as a famous mathematician/philosopher who understood curves of space very well.

flying seemed impossible
Einstein was considered bat fuck crazy..but a lot of his "theories" are starting to seem more and more correct and true. For instance, his thoughts on black holes.

hawking's idea is very controversial but i wouldn't dismiss it...who knows in 2000 years it could be proven*

but for now...i say just dance😉

This "nothing" is not predefined as "empry" .Dark matter and dark energy are 2 concepts least explored by scientists due to lack of evidence and various other factors.String theory holds the key to all of this

Err Mr Tate did i say anything foolish ?Am not enlightened as you btw,so please dont mind .Thanks for nudging me to speak more on this topic 🙂

String theory integrates multi dimensions, curled and warped arround each other with elemenst of quantum mechanics. The theory attempts to encompass and glue shit at both micro and macro levels.
As hawking explains, when 4th dimension is brought into picture ,this "infinity" ie distance morphs to "enternity" ie time .My initial comment "zero" and "endless space" being same was based on it.

However since its implications cannot be ascertained as of now cuz science has not advanced to that 'stage',direct visible evidence is ruled out .We are left to ponder in the meantime and add more beef to this complex theory.

This theort sounds promising to me.If we take a look at important events from 15th century up until now, physics has taken one major leap in each century. If it was galelio, keppler, newton's theory, then einstien's, this century am very optimistic it will be the string theory revolution.

First it was atoms/molecules considered to be the 'most basic elementary shit' but with research and advancement in science, now that tag belongs to quarks.Which brings us to string theory.

Here's an excellent video about dimensions

PIR

You make a good point. Being 43 the breakthrow may not come in my life time. I at this point in time feel that the thory of 11 demionsions may well lead us back to and beyond the singelarty. once we understand what was or was not before this point we may well be on our way to understanding all.

Thank you Mr Tate,I concur with you.
Haha im keeping my fingers crossed ,it may come soon.
String theory is slated to be the frontrunner for 'theory of everything' by quite a many physicists .Its some wierd shit to grasp at the moment as it basically states : the Universe is made from one type of particle and the stuffs visible are resultant from thr said particle vibrating at different frequency..
Its music down there according to this theory.

Some food for thought.I keep wondering over this again and again, thought i'd share ,trips 🙂
Electromagnetic waves(EMV) were present since the age pf dinosaurs and throughout the greek/roman age.Newton discovered some shit but could not give a convincing explaination as to why.We had to wait for maxwell to come out with his "electromagnetic theory'.Prior to 18th century none had a clue as to what EMV meant.Thing is,it was there all along, hidden and waiting to be discovered .Some things are still out there unknown to us at this time.

Now we know EMV exist, but why is the speed constant?I mean if speed of light were not constant our vision woudnt have been reliable ,right?Sound travels at constant speed but it requires 'air',as they are air waves/vibrations basically .Sound only works if there is air,it is the "air" that is continuing to move in waves till the sound gets to us.

Now by the same analogy,
Big bang theory envisaged singularity with speed of light being constant .The age of the unverse is estimated by the light from the most distant point via hubble and the farthest known gamma ray burst(GRB).But could it also be possible that ,just as sound ,EMV also travels through some undiscovered 'medium' ,as in ifsound travels through air at the same speed, then it is the air that determines the speed of sound(through reasoning). Some part of the universe appears vaccum cuz in between those space there's no 'medium' for light to travel across. This 'medium' is rumored to be dark matter and creepy shit .But no physical evidence yet, major problem in physics, claims should be substantiated by visible evidence .We are left with logical reasoning .
*sigh*
This link has some fascinating insights on string theory and stuff
... This recent result from the accelerator at CERN, which seems to contradict Einstein's theory of relativity, has generated enormous interest, among scientists ..

Perhaps the speed of light is not constant. Ther is some physical evidence that light at one time was faster than it is today. There is akso evidence that in other parts of the universe that light travals at a different speed. If light traviles at a different speed does time also move at a different speed?

Yea if light travels at different speed then time fluctuates .But some physicists are still skeptical due to many nagging issues. One of them being ,this could be a radical result. Its the first time this has been noticed. Also all evidence is indirect evidence in the sub-atomic world. We can't see neutrino's but we do know they exist by indirect experimental results.
As carl Sagan said "extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence".

We need to look beyond relativity as its evident einstien himself was found looping with ideas but coudnt break free out of it, to develop a theory of everything.
The main issue is how do we view/assess the result which are contrary to relativity, afterall relativity is a bible for physicists .

Nothing with mass can travel at the speed of light because the amount of energy needed to move the mass becomes infinite.A neutrino has mass and therefore cannot possibly travel faster than light. But in the CERN expireiment the neutrinos were observed to move 60 nanoseconds quicker than the light would have traveled. So theoretically, anything that travels faster than light is actually traveling backwards in time!(relativity) Therefore for a Neutrino to travel faster than light, wouldn't the effect have to precede the cause?

It surely broke some 'commandments' of physics and this has baffled physicists all over. But positives aspects have emerged from this experiment.Being inquistive as science always demands,we have been stuck in a quantum rut for the past 80 years imho.

Fallacies as big as believing the Earth is the center of the universe , inventing reasons why the planets move in predictable but eccentric motions. The equations and all worked out just fine.but ultimately they were proved wrong. The 'real' answer in science is always revealed when we shift our perspectivr and by doing that, throughout early science to modern physics era ,we have realised universe always seems to reveal itself to be much simpler than we previously thought. I sometimes wonder where are we heading towards?Theory of everything means 'mind of god' and how universe works et al ... 🙂
