I could see having strong South Nodal contacts as an indicator for twin flames.

Maybe a question to ask is, does this persons aspects complement or seek reconciliation in areas where my chart is able to help? And vice/versa.
That is a good point; since I've noticed that for example the Twin Soul that becomes the chaser has more positive behaviors(I'd say healthy relationship and communicative behavior, then the runner.)
That's why I put the chart up above as an example; what are the strengths and weakness of them both and how do the compliment each other to help each other grow?

Hmm. Interesting. I wonder if some of the responses in that Linda Goodman forum were just giving the readers the aspects if their relationship which they are convinced is a soulmate/tf thing? Has there been research done in this? Just curious.
I thought about how accurate the aspects listed posted would be but I decided that the aspects listed must have already indicated some sort of twin flame-like attribute. I imagine actual research on twin flame placements would be rare since meeting your twin flame is also rare so you kind of have to work off of the individual aspects and piece it together how it makes sense without research. That of course means that the aspects listed on that website aren't set in stone, but I gave the link because some people had already thought about this topic and listed aspects.

Perhaps since everything from the mercury down is the same and in the aspects, conjunction seems to be important. But, maybe it could go the other way, too. Opposites were also mentioned in aspects, so perhaps it may make sense for the person to have opposing placements?
