Well the more the merrier. Only way to shake off that "dogs are better than humans" mindset of yours. You are waaaaaaaay too young to turn into an old grouch.
Humans can't teach dogs to be dogs, DOGS teach dogs to be dogs. Look at all those rescue vids on youtube, of dogs being raised in captivity and never learning to live the way they're supposed to.
Likewise, dogs can't play the role of a human. You can learn loyalty & unconditional love from dogs and they can even keep you literally warm at night, but they're not our own species.
