had the most luck searching with the words, chicken pox home remedies.
recomneded: brown vinegar, oatmeal, baking soga, tylenol - absolutely no asperin!, try to keep skin cool.
am mostly worried about contagious. lots of people with compromised immune systems such as chemo patients, pregneant women, babies... we're supposed to travel the 24th across the country by air.. she has finals in high school this week too
kinda sucks

When my kids got that, the only treatment we've got was kind of liquid from their specialist to smear the spots with to reducing the itching effects?

Or else I don't know about any other treatments..!

Good luck with your kid/kids... what ever you do, do not allow them to itching themselves..!

And it takes only a couple of weeks to get rid of this sickness..!! Don't worry..! It happens to every kid, everywhere, and it is pretty normal? (Good training to the body's self defence system)...

I dont remember the name of the liquid.... but I am sure you can find in any drugstores?!!

The only thing is unpleasant is the fever caused by body's defence system, again? nothing to worry about..!

It is pretty normal..!!

thanks Archer. she's taken quite a few baths. some with oatmeal, some with baking soda. the 1st night we tried the pea water pat down and all i think that accomplished was to get her interested in researching the home remedies for herself,TG. the paste of backing soda stung her skin. will be applying raw honey to sores, and also have some Balm of Gilead to try as soon as she's willing.
this really sucks for her. (Oh wonderful!, she just now decided to use the honey! another big step!!)
and starting on benadryl gave her some much needed relief yesterday.
today she got her . , and that doesn't help her mood much.

hey! thanks to all of you who responded last month! we rescheduled the finals and were able to get vouchers from the airline. she's doing very well now, and not much scaring.
we both learned alot from the experience. and for that i'm grateful.
