To be fair it's my first step into it aside from the clashes with the conquistadors etc.
My mother always tried to push me into it but so far it never interested me.
If money wouldn't be a concern though I would leave everything behind and just travel the world and gather together all the pieces for the ultimate big picture of the human condition.

Why did your mother want you to know? I just wished they would teach more in schools. How can one expect interest in a subject that is only shallowly looked over?

I think it's just one of the things she just fell in love with. Other cultures she fell in love with were Greece, Egypt and Africa. While we share Greece I'm still indifferent towards the other two.
The problem with schools is that they only have limited time to look at subjects. In my case we barely looked at the romen empire, prussia etc. but extensively at the WWII and the holocaust for ages. American history was only mentioned when I got a decent history teacher who was passionate about his topics during the last years in school.
Yeah, but I'm too old and have basically no career. I need to deliver something before I can indulge my Sag moon needs. 😛

True. In fact the western world should speed up in establishing a structure that not only allows but also enforces life long learning as we shift from an industry focused economy to service oriented one.
In around a month I'll be 29 and I haven't achieved anything the last seven years. I fucked up too much and have to earn the vagabond privilege once more.

That's only true if you want it to be. 29 is young, and it matters not what you achieved in the past but what you will do tomorrow. Your life is yours, it doesn't have to have rules, you dictate it however you want. Though you probably already understand this...so suit yourself, Chuckles.

Funny you say that because Euskera is the only language in Spain that doesn’t come from Latin and it really doesn’t have any similarities with Spanish. But listening to it I realize that the tone of how they are speaking it’s very Spanish 😄

Yeah, the accent is still very Spanish but when you listen to the grammar & nouns, it's unlike anything else.
