STOP HATING ON CHINESE WOMEN OP

Posted by DonJohnson
that's a fine logic derrrrrrrrrrrrp. but have you seen the marriage and divorce stats?
compare that to america, better yet Urban america, then you'll realize you're laughing at someone's acne, when you have AIDS.
but what is reality doe?

It is, but it's not better, or worse than choosing not to. It's also no better or worse than someone who starts the married with kids life late. What a person chooses to do, what they want, what they learn and grow from those experiences are uniquely theirs. Trying to stuff people into boxes based on statistics is lame sauce.
On one hand, I'm tempted to agree with you, but on the other, I think education is key because not many people (particularly nowadays) plan with any kind of foresight if they plan at all! It's as if people are shooting from the hip or playing it by ear. As romantic as it sounds, it is also dangerous and irresponsible. But I noticed that concept of "citizenship" is practically non-existent as, again, it's about the singular even WITHIN a family unit. What's more, selfish though is encouraged as it's about paving YOUR own way and doing what YOU desire with no self awareness or realization that choices you make today may very well affect your family or children later (should you choose to have them.) As long as people strive to make educated, and not emotional, choices, more power to them. As long as it's understood that with children later in life come a heightened risk for the mother as well as sacrifices for the children (like daddy perhaps not having the energy to accompany the children to their ball games.) But reality needs to be considered, options weighed, and perspectives considered...Kind of like a scientific and logical thought processes should take place. That means a lot of contemplation. Easier said than done as I am still trying to find my way. Heh.click to expand

Good point. You are right, there are no guarantees. I suppose that's where faith comes in...

It's funny how everything is this or that, and there's no other choices. You're either married with kids, gotta catch your man while you're young n pretty, or you're a slutty old maid who will be lonely. Really? That's the supposed categories that women fall into? Where's the individuality? What happened to the idea that everyone chooses differently, for different reasons, and the outcome for everyone isn't always the same? Fuck that shit....I'm walking my own path and I don't care if anyone likes the route I take, or not.
