For you dorks out there, I have been toying with the following question...

What are the sun signs of popular super heroes and villians?

It was a struggle but I was able to get an example for each of the 12 signs. For the uber-dorks, see if you can gather the sun sign of your favorite or tell me where I went wrong.

Aries - The Human Torch: Impetuous, impulsive, brave

Taurus - Iron Man: Prone to excess, industriousness, gains through tragedy

Gemini - Professor X: Struggles for balance, secretive, manipulative

Cancer - Spiderman: Geek, mommy issues, nurturer

Leo - Storm: Actual royalty, leader, conflicted between choosing family and work

Virgo - Batman: Vengeful, industrious, "mental"

Libra - Rogue: Conflicted, consumed by voices (choices), malleable

Scorpio - The Joker: Psychopath, sick humor, hell bent on revenge

Sagittarius - Wolverine: Brash, outdoors man/adventurous, heals quickly to fight again

Capricorn - Superman: Simplicity, humanitarian, penchant for loneliness even in the presence of others

Aquarius - Wonder Woman - Feminist, asexual (superman?), potential to go crazy

Pisces - Two-Face: Victimized, conflicted, emotional

Comedian to me is a taurus...its self explainitory.

The hulk fits a far better description of taurus when it comes to super heros.

Ironman doesn\'t seem to fit the description much with taurus.

Virgo should be Dr. Manhattan.

And pisces should be the silver surfer.

Batman also fits scorpio better...

nope. the hulk is also banner and therefore you can not consider one without the other. a sign with dualities would be far more accurate dontcha think?

ok, let's agree that iron man is an earth sign? i chose him as a taurus specifically for the alcoholism and the fact that it became bad enough for him to lose his company. not sure addiction//excess is as attributable to the other earth signs?

true chance but i'm going to do my best to force any character with a dual personality into Gem, Pis and Sag. would have to be a a horrible fit otherwise.

yeah, just taking some general characteristics of a their personality and giving them a sign that would fit best.

you're techinically right chance. they all have alter egos. i was thinking more in terms of an ego/duality that can't be controlled vs a persona that a character wears to protect his identity.

but i get your point about hulk being aries. i can see that too.

Hmm interesting I know I'm being a little bias here but I think a lot of heros would fit the virgo mold(Batman, Spidi, and Iron-Man like people said but I'll try to make it more diverse.


Aries- Wonder Women- Trailblazer, a goddess.


Taurus- Cyclops - Peristant with the X-Men. Likes thing's his way or the high way it seems IDK.


Gemini- The Flash- only from JLTAS when he's a goofball.


Cancer- Batman- Just to change it up, tragic ending to his family. Emotional, will go nuts on anybody.


Leo- Superman- Brave, optimistic, loyal, proud.


Virgo- The Hulk- Scientist, nerd, etc, freak accident and has two personalitys and submits his inner rage.


Libra- Lois Lane- Balance in her life, her career, her life. Atleast the character on Smallville seems like she could fit a Libra.


Scorpio- Green Lantern- Jon Stewart- Ressiliant, tough, persisstent etc.


Saggiterious- Jean Grey- Free Spirited, fun loving it seems and a little emotional when she gets mad in her free spirited phoenix moods lol.


Cappircorn- Tony Stark- Bussiness like, has a funny bone and seems to be ressiliant as well.


Aquarious- Aquaman lol- Need I say more.


Pieces- Martian Manhunter- Why cause he can shapeshift lol. He also seems very mysterious and always changing.

@Virgoman - no real disagreement with the list except, spiderman a virgo? puh-leez! i think virgo works for a lot of signs because there has to be a detachment there for most superheroes but many of the comparisons end there.

^^from the wiki dorks. sounds more taurus to me. especially given the fact that even in the face of doing something different, he effectively did the same thing.

i like jason. gohan isn't fresh enough in my memory to ascribe a sign to him.

goku does seem a bit saggy. he has a cappy element to him in the simplicity category though. and all the sags i know, although playful, take themselves a bit seriously so i dunno.

but i can DEFINITELY see vegeta as a scorpio...at least prior to his self-sacrifice.

piccolo, for some reason i see him as aqua. maybe because of appearances only but he feels like an aqua.

trunks is a bit fiery to me. maybe he'd be a sag? but it's been a while since i've seen the cartoon.

and meg, i had the hots for vegeta too...before he lost his stinger. if he were human he'd be about the same height as Prince though.

Taurus, represents raw power, raw energy, the ability to use pin-point an make an alley while having him as an enemy. Taurus never admits defeat even after they loose, and they will continue to consider an enemy even after you have be-friended them much like vegita.

This is why i associate taurus with the comedian as well with the hulk because they are blocks of extreme and raw energy.


Scorpio is an embodiment of dark passions, much like piccolo, a person who is rough teacher and a protector of his followers, but his possessive nature allows him to reach new limits.

vegeta had a clear agenda the moment he set foot on the planet earth. vegeta's sole aim was power. he resented goku's power. the desire for power is inherent to scorpio, not taurus.

taurus is also not perpetually angry. taurus represses anger and resentment until it overflows. vegeta spent the entire series being angry until his grand sacrifice.

compare the basic traits and it's obvious 😛 look to the negative in each sign and it's clear that vegeta is a scorp.

Taurus sole aim is power and conquest of the whole. Vegeta resented goku for the fact that goku didn't want to join him on capturing and selling planets for profit and to gain status. Vegeta wanted to prove to the world that his race of seiyans are far superior than that of any other race within the galaxy. This sounds exactly like a tyranical taurus.
