What is it like? Do you enjoy yourselves? Do you feel like you make enough money? Do you have children? Do you feel like you can support children on non-profit salary?
Do you work for a non-profit organization?

I used 2 work for a npo and it was tough to support my own self on the salary and when the finances got tough, they would send you an iou for your paycheck.

I did enjoy it tho. The feeling of servicing society.

Decades. Its just how some npo's operate financially.

One of my clients runs a non profit. She spent 54k on her backyard, custom BBQ/bar, fire pit, fountain, large entertaining patio.
I'd say she's doing pretty well for herself.

Oh and she has 2 kids she's putting through college as a single mom.
She renovated the kitchen around the same time I did her landscape.

Not even sure if she has employees or any details about her business. I just know what she shared with me. And she added me to her emailing list so I get updates off and on.
She did mention to me that she was going to write off part of the renovation as a business expense as she would be able to entertain sponsors there.

I work for a nonprofit and most of my adult career has been in this sector. I can support myself, own a home, travel the world. I get to do fulfilling work that changes our world and live a pretty good life at the same time. It's awesome!
