Right!
I remember clearly she said it was metastatic and inoperable. But these days inoperable does not mean untreatable. There is an overall 5 year survival rate.
This will be what she dies from. But they can prolong her life with treatment. So that is the position she is in.

No this cancer is not like that. People can live for years with it. But there is no cure. She was coping remarkably well. I have known people in agony just get on with it. What else can you do?
