Damon if you want to hit a woman, just walk away, there is no justification, unless of course they put their hands on you (and even than to what degree), or attempt to harm you using a tool or something and you have to defend yourself.

when a man disrespects another man, a fight could ensue..

when a child disrespects, or behaves inappropriately, he/she may in fact receive a spanking from the father

..so why would a woman think that she's somehow above the same treatment after displaying the same actions? especially if you continue to test the limits after you've been verbally warned? because these are the types of women i'm talking about specifically

A child can learn discipline without spanking, it's lazy parenting.

Being a man is keeping your cool. If your stronger then a woman how can you hit her and still claim to be a man.

You wouldn't even say it if you was a man. Women are looking for protectors not abusers.

All men that hit women can't fight men, that's all I've been proven.

I agree with CC. I've heard your justifications and none of them seem valid. When we are children we respond to anger by hitting. But when we become adults we should be able to use our words. It also seems...not unlike some other males here...you have some backwards idea that hitting a woman restores your masculinity if you feel she offended you in some way. It does just the opposite. It shows that you lacked the self control, and the capacity to settle a dispute without resulting to violence. And in the end, what have you proven? You knew going in that it wasn't a fair fight. Instead of putting this woman in her "place", what you have done is knock yourself down a few pegs by showing that you are so threatened by this woman, you lost control.

this isnt about restoring masculinity, it's about respect..and it's CERTAIN TYPES(key words)of females that push those boundaries..thats all im saying.

It's some straight up crazy women who pick fights with dudes. I mean ones who absolutely want a physical altercation, I don't know why. Even some who only feel loved if they are with a man who hits them, because they are sick. I am just saying, it makes you look worst as a man if you hit her. Why not just leave the scene. I'd be more impressed that you were able to keep your cool and walk away.
