Every person on Barbuda evacuated

Ok, the population was under 2000 but It is now a deserted island.

Volunteers are there trying to feed the pets left behind but it's bleak.

i read that Saint Martin might get a 2nd warning of hurricane. They just cant take another hit.

This is so sad.

These are beautiful islands with beautiful people.

To me, it is silly people live on those tiny islands at all

Just like people building on barrier islands

They aren't meant to be permenantly inhabitated

Though I guess some could argue the same about Florida ??‍♀️
