Just wondering why someone tell you to stop being a stranger when you really aren't one?

I hate that one

people just say weird stuff when they don't even need to say anything - how about "hey, I miss you - haven't seen you much" lol

another one that bites me azz is - "smile, it's not that bad" lol - one lady bugged me so bad on this that I told her my mother died and the look on her face was priceless

I hate pointless expressions it doesn't mean much by saying things. Like be good or you know what it is ? I know i overthink things but i hate getting thrown random thoughts of expressions at me. Its awkward cause i don't ever know what to say.

Does anyone know what "stop playing dumb you got to play smarter " could possibly mean?

Because they wanna borrow some money soon and wanna beat around the bush about it.

We got a party goin on cause little Junior just graduated, don't be a stranger. In the middle of the shin dig they pull you to the side, " We runnin a little late on the water bill this month. I'll pay you back with my check next week.I guess Junior gonna be usin a lot of wet whipes before community college.
