The Matron

The Great Mother, Nurturer and Teacher

The Matron. Your ally behind the curtain is the enchantress in the reeds, the beautiful mother who culls the children from around the world to her bosom, and cares for them as if they were her own. She is the only avatar that has a gender, the essence of feminine strength and empathy and key to the locked chest of wonder. She nurtures and caresses the imagination, is supplicant to the wonder of nature and of beauty and teaches children the stories and laws of the world - she is a fierce protector and silver-tongued siren when confronted with an issue she feels she can dominate. Willful and powerful, the Matron works best when she is adored and needed, when you can offer her your devotion and love. When given these things, the Matron will offer solace from a stressful world, spin lovely and exciting dreams for you, and warn you of dangers to your spirit, especially from men. She is a lifelong soulmate, one who will watch over you even before you're born, and after you die - treat her well and she will treat you well in return - treat her poorly and she forgives... to a point. A spurned mother is a tyrant, so keep her satisfied with love and devotion and your life will be much easier to lead.

My highest percentages were:

Kindly 45

Instinctive 28

Reserved 24

The Scholar
The Scriber of Tomes and Recorder of Knowledge
The Scholar. Your ally is the trodder in the archives, reader of dusty manuscripts and forgotten lore, a testament to memory and logic. The Scholar is a ceaseless devotee of knowledge and manipulation of that knowledge to its own ends. Without much care to restraint or consequence, the Scholar excels in the collection of data of every type, so long as fieldwork is not considered - it works best at a desk with the astrolabe, compass and quill. The Scholar is the polar opposite to the Sorcerer, preferring to let science and intelligence rule the day - everything has an explanation, and it is the Scholar's duty to discover them. The Scholar can aid you in deciphering all the codes in your life, breaking down the fog and illuminating the keys you need to go about your life in the most prosperous fashion. Many times you will find yourself at odds with accepting the Scholar's help, as it works without the constraints of morality or consideration of consequence - the key to a successful relationship with the Scholar is to read. Watch television. Have conversations. But make sure you consider the implications of the data you take in - if you can see beyond the base and understand the logic behind a problem, the Scholar can set to work making that problem work FOR you, instead of against - you just have to pay attention.

Your Analysis (Vertical line = Average)

You scored 20% on Hermetic, higher than 59% of your peers.

Some of those questions were hard though, lots of knowledge or invisible hoodie, damn.

On that one I was torn between endless gold/jewels or herbs and healing spells. I picked the gold because then MY LIFE WOULD BE SO MUCH EASIER.

The other one I had to think about was if I wanted someone with me to comfort me, or if I was more bothered that I couldn't see enough data to manage or predict my surroundings.

^For that one I wanted the scroll that held all the secrets to the universe, hands down.

I'd rather have mystery than all the answers. I love mystery.

I think I clearly prioritize my physical security (health or wealth, companionship or sharp senses to manage environment) which is why I scored so high on instinctual.

But see once I have physical security THEN I have a safe place where I can be creative, which is a more intellectual/spiritual thing, so it still serves a greater purpose for me.

The Pathfinder

Your ally is a fierce and focused machine, intent on exploration and singlemindedly hunting its prey. It stalks the edges of the land, bending the reeds lightly, slipping silently across the rocks to the other side of the river, never breaking a blade of grass or unsettling the fish swimming nearby. Unseen and unheard, the Pathfinder seeks your most valued goals with a tenacity unmatched, never stopping until the goal has been met. It exists to find pathways through the thicket, to show you the road you need to travel in order to complete your goals - it ignores all else, and ushers you down a straight line to your quarry. If an obstacle arises, the Pathfinder tirelessly circumvents it, and searches for a way to lead you around as well. The Pathfinder is cold but respectful, skillful but not showy - a dichotomy of terms that exemplifies a strength of character that is always, ALWAYS, cool and collected in the face of adversity, knowing that soon enough, it will arrive at its destiny. The Pathfinder works best when you have lofty goals with many possibilities - if you've none, the Pathfinder finds itself decaying and growing old in the wilds, and after a time if not summoned or given work, will eventually expire on the open plains leaving you alone to your fate.

Highest were Hermetic, Logical and Reserved - that sounds about right.

36% Hermetic, higher than 94% of your peers
8% Civil, higher than 36% of your peers
7% Brash, higher than 44% of your peers
20% Reserved, higher than 41% of your peers
16% Instinctual, higher than 73% of your peers
28% Logical, higher than 55% of your peers
6% Selfless, higher than 16% of your peers
10% Covetous, higher than 63% of your peers
13% Malicious, higher than 68% of your peers
17% Kindly, higher than 27% of your peers

I didn't have any answer for the one that asked me what would bother me the most, I would be in my element in dreamland. Maybe it's a sun in the 12th house thing.

Ended up choosing the data one anyway.

Me too.

I think Jungian Sensate people are more likely to choose things like data, companionship, wealth or health/healing than Jungian Intuitives.

I think Jungian Sensates, especially ISxPs, may actually LOVE mystery and dreamland, because of unconscious but tertiary Ni.

I don't want to know the secrets of the universe.

I see there are a lot of Scholars on this thread. Maybe a lot of INxx.

The Sorcerer

The Sorcerer. Your ally is the rabbit in the hat, and the fog at the riverbank, the one who peers through the stars and sees INTO them, not BEYOND. The Sorcerer is in awe with the majesty of the world and seeks to gather wisdom, through blind faith and devotion and great joy taken in the wondrous results of its own endeavors. Unlike the Scholar, the Sorcerer knows in its heart that the lifeblood of the world swirls about us at all times, and that it is malleable in shape and grows in size - it is not a black and white cacophony of scripture and diagrams but a symphony composed by magic and expressed through nature. The Sorcerer has no boundaries, so long as it has faith. It exists to seek answers through the heart, to find difficult but important meaning in every little thing, and to respect the mysteries it will never learn. Serenity and devotion are the Sorcerer's greatest strengths, and to work well with it, you will have to set aside all pretense of KNOWING the world around you. Take for granted what the world shows you, and the Sorcerer will retreat in a puff of smoke - enjoy and imagine what you hear in the wind or see in the fire, and with the Sorcerer around... more than likely, it will come true.
