I don’t blame you when I agreed to help a freind who asked six months I had difficulty then she stayed for a years
We no longer talk.
I found it upsetting that she begged me for it
Kinda lost respect specially when she got herself there for over spending but i felt guilty too because people can have hardships n I’ve had them too.
Thx Okay that would be too much there must be a perspective. I will talk to the roommate he needs to buy an inflattable mattress so that he sleeps in his room and they need to find a solution. If this is an arrangement without an expirtion date or no solution in sight then i am out
I think it irks you more because this was forced on you
That how I felt when she forced herself on me
Well the roommate did ask me. I just feel i cannot say no.
Why the fuck does everyone have roommates these days? Is everyone stuck in college for lifetime? Get/rent a place of your own ----> end of having to deal with other people.
If your answer is 'can't afford to rent a place for myself' then
Why the fuck is everyone piss poor these days?

Maybe he is a college student?

Maybe
But I keep hearing storiess in here about annoying roommates, including from ppl not in college and supposedly successful. Confusing times

Depends on the state you live ? Rents here can be 1700 dollars for a one bedroom
Lucky I can afford but different circumstances for people

Where does one have to live to pay $ 1700 in rent for a one bedroom and aren't there cheaper options where you don't have to live above your means?
I guess I have it made where I live. Renting here is about 350 to 500 a month. Low crime rate, and the closest big city is out of state and is only 40 mins away. So basically you need to find a state you can live cheap, but work in a big city where the wages pay for people not living cheap at all. It's all about location.

I am a horrible person i know he is homeless if we are not helping him out yet his presence irks me to no end.
When he takes a glass out of a cupboard i want to scream, last night he charged his phone with my cable when i got it he said oh yes you need the cable, and then immediately went back to texting witjout missing a beat.
No thank you aaaarrrggggghhhhhhh.
I am very antisocial and privacy minded it took me lots of time to get used to our current roommates. I even told my roommate of course he can stay now i want him gone.
Anyway thx for reading my rambling what do you think?
I could never do roommates. Tried it my freshman year of college and we fought. I’ve got a short fuse you seem opposite lol. If I saw someone using my phone charger my first words “Uhh did you ask me?” Followed by a look. Set boundaries.
Sounds like the person doesn’t respect you because you’re quiet and don’t speak up. Speak your thoughts; don’t hold them in.
It seems setting boundaries is nonexistent to a lot of people because people don’t want to appear harsh or rude. You need to set boundaries with others.
Smh roommate agreements always seem to go bad. You’ll get that one roommate who wants to live carelessly as if they are the only inhabitant. Nope lol..
I have a Libra friend who had two other roommates (he now lives alone).. Long story short, they heard banging on their door one day, it turns out to be the police looking for a fugitive that one of the roommates had in their room.

"Can't say no" That's a problem.
