You can find some gold among the independently produced films but have to search and dig a bit, attend film festivals, etc.

I think I have seen only one of the films or tv shows mentioned last night.. I don't watch tv much and I rarely go to the movie theater. Hollywood stuff is often so disappointing. We like to watch the awards shows like people watching, observe behaviors, what they say, what they wear, etc.

Ricky is so hilarious. He kept saying, "You have to know these awards mean absolutely nothing. They are worthless!"
