It always will reap benefits from history. Good and bad.

You should try reaping some of those benefits yourself, instead of focusing on wrongdoings from many, many years ago. Opportunities are endless, especially for minorities. It's never been better for AA's. Get on the bus, Gus (and sit anywhere you want 😉).

Looks like race really is still a big issue in America "The Great". With that said, I would like to dedicate a song for this thread. The song is by the group Boom Shaka, it's called "Bambanani"...which means "Unite" or "Unity". Wish I could translate the whole song to everyone here, but the video speaks for itself & it has some English words..just so everyone understands its peaceful message. That's very unfortunate then. Plus, even if AAs were to move to Africa, don't think it'd work because they seem diluted. Africa is raw & no place for sissies. Killing someone over something so stupid is just mind boggling. A name shouldnt define who you are. Like, some of us have been called names but nobody reacted to that extreme because it really doesnt matter what someone calls you if you're comfortable in your own skin & know who you are. If someone on the street were to call me "Samantha", a dog or whatever, why should I acknoweledge that with a response when I'm neither Samantha or a dog. You react to what is true. I think being a manority in a place where other people are a majority makes people feel a bit self-conscious hence the over the top reactions to stupid shit. I'm glad I was born in a place where the majority of people look & act like me because it keeps you grounded. It gives you IDENTITY. Meaning anything else becomes a mere opinion when your identity is attached.

I have 2 pet birds, right? So one day I decided to place them outside in their little cage to catch some sun. It was not a particularly warm day but the sun was out nonetheless. My birds puffed up, the way birds do when feeling cold. It was an interesting observation because all the wild birds, the "free" birds werent all puffed. To them it was just another day in the elements of nature.

That's how different AAs are to Africans. They puff up at things that an average African wouldnt even give a crap about. Domesticated & sensitive just like pets, unlike the jungle beasts in the wild aka Africans.

Still love you guys, just toughen up when dealing with the "elements" of nature. It's a concrete jungle & only the strongest survive.

You're talking about rare occurances & what the media chooses to show. No sane African would be a slave to anybody in this day & age. Do you know how proud we are? Centuries they tried to change an African but an African still remained an African & just took what was beneficial to them ie. education etc. We still do things that our forefathers did. We still dress the same way (half naked) when WE feel like it etc.

A friend of mine and I were talking about that the other day. She was an EMT and they saw it happen a lot- nice houses, cars, etc. And they were handing over Medicaid cards as their medical insurance.

Really, really disgusting when people rely too heavily/abuse the system like a lot of people do, regardless of color. Fraud and/or popping out kids uncontrollably and expecting hand outs. It makes it all the more fun for the legit cases to apply for help when they truly need it. SO much ridiculous red tape thanks to these asshats.

Not exactly. There are plenty of blacks who aren't okay with other minorities using the n word and plenty of blacks who don't mind. Everyone is an individual, with their own thoughts and feelings.

awww someone feels left out. it only hurts when a obvious racist uses it. usually its someone white. others can get knocked out as well but thats rare. there are still white people who are just white with no mix of nothing else so they won't always get a pass.
white people just jealous cause they cant call us niggas without backlash. as superhero said "deal with it".
