I couldn't figure out where to post this but I've been noticing this hot dude at the gym checking me out hard core, EVERY single time I'm there. Yeah, I know everyone looks at everyone but I feel when he's watching me and I catch him, but he doesn't turn away, and even locks eyes with me for a few seconds until I look away. We've spoken a few times, just briefly but I'm pretty quiet in public settings like that, and keep to myself. He will make it a point to be in my view sometimes, and even says bye to me when he's leaving. I feel a vibe, but I've been wrong multiple times before. What say you—

You gotta plan your exit when he exits. Ask him about his day, suggest maybe linking for a drink sometime.

I would say mind your own business lol, that just feels like a friendly banter to me and nothing else

Girl - I say talk to him! If you’re nervous about accosting him, then make it really obvious you’d be okay with him coming up to you. For example, smile and make eye contact. If nothing else, it could be a fun, flirtatious exchange. Ride the machines and moan; flex that booty at him and make him sweat, LOL.

It's ok. I really don't know what happened. His mood and responsiveness slowly started dropping after the last time I saw him. His tone on his social media changed too. When we were hanging out and doing our thing, he seemed to be optimistic, but then he became withdrawn and even posted things that shouted out "Depression". I've reached out a few times, but my messages are read and then never responded to. He still has me on his social media (which he always deletes people that piss him off, like his exes) . I just don't know. I'm giving him his space.

It sounds like you’re doing the right thing, by giving him his space. It probably has nothing to do with you personally, since he still has you on his social media.

I bet he will be back around soon, when he gets himself back on top. Sometimes we tend to completely shut everyone out when we are going through stress of some kind. The thing is, we don’t like to drag other people down or into our problems. We just need to figure it out on our own, and get back to ourselves. Then we can be that rock again for the ones we care about.
