Be honest...

Posted by lisabethur8I agree with you... but this is not a philosophical thread. This is an empirical thread. The question is better rephrased as "How do you react when defeated in a competition?"
you don't.
you accept that you didn't win this time, and you need to get up and live life, and get up in the morning and do it again.
if you fail at anything, just get up and do it again. just like exams, keep studying, keep doing it, cause if you don't, you fall into depression.
so you have to keep going. until you die.
death is not even defeat.

Posted by Capri-sunThanks for your wisdom. But as I've said, this is an empirical analysis on how we cope with defeat/failure and how we move on from there.
Every winning is a loser at some point. Every loser won't be a winner though.
Defeat should expose your weaknesses, shortcomings, poor execution. Then you build & go that much harder to bounce back & improve.
Defeat should be a sharpening tool, not a death sentence.

Posted by firebunnyI demand a rematch and do everything possible to win the next time.Posted by Deedee86Oh thanks. This is the first responsive answer.

Posted by MyStarsShineAny specific actuation/behavior? How does it feel losing? Are you happy when you lose? If you cared a lot about the game so much, how does it feel losing after?
