How do you tell yourself to sleep early in the night?

And if you used to be a Midnight Owl but eventually became a Morning Person, what did you do that effectively enabled you to get out of the 'rut'?

Help me find the answer because I sleep at 11 am

Seriously? Do you work night shifts or something? My immune system went down just because I slept at 6 am a few times. I'm doing better now as I have successfully avoided that bad habit of mine... But I still have a long way to go, I believe.

The second my head hits that pillow whether it’s 9pm or 7 pm, im out within minutes. I wake up at 5:45 every day. Set that alarm. You get used to it. Took a month tho.

I cant sleep on command. It just doesnt work. It happened more than once that i stayed up late, say 4 am with work at 8, so waking up at 7 am. It also happened that i was up so late it didnt make sense to go to sleep for an hour, so i went straight to work after a sleepless night. On such days, im lucky that i was able to doze off a little after lunch, for better digestion and a quick recharge.

I'm also a nasty morning person, no filter, no fucks given to consequences of no filter, just stay away and be quiet and especially no questions. I cant think for 15 minutes after i wake up, i feel everything i do in that time is muscle memory autopilot.

I got a puppy. He’d start whining about 5:30 am needing to pee. I figured since I was awake, I’d stay up. Even after he stopped whining so early, I happen to wake up and feel sorry for him in his kennel. Now I’m used to it. I just wake up early on my own now.
