I wouldn't ever dye my hair any color in general. But me and my pa discussed how we think people go over board with dying their hair and how they don't realize how risky it is to dye hair. I brought in if I did I would only dye it a medium brown color, because at least it'd look right on me instead of something too bright. Well in relation to such. What do you guys think of dying hair and if you did? Which color?

Why is it risky to dye hair?

It's only hair....it grows back.

I've had every color from platinum blonde to blue/black. Before I had kids, I experimented a lot. Now my hair is close to natural but I still brighten it up. Right now, it's a dark, coppery blonde which is slightly darker than natural.

My next color change will be a chestnut brown for the fall.

Read up that chemicals in hair dye can contribute and/or speed up hair loss.

Interesting. It hasn't for me and I have been coloring my hair for 20 years.

Once, I used an at home keratin treatment and it fell out in chunks. My usually thick hair became really thin but whithin a year it was better. The product ended up being recalled and I was part of a class action suit against them.

My hair thinned out shortly after I had surgery too but now it is back to normal.
