Life hands us what we can handle, nothing more, nothing less. It isn't always fair, but you'll pull through in the end.

Feel your feels, and really feel em...that's the only way to get through it. It may seem hard to do but find at least one or two good things in a day and keep your focus on the positives and what is going right in your life and eventually things fall into place. ? hang in there and chin up buttercup!

Trying not to be a Debbie Downer but life is kicking me in the ass right now.

My son got diagnosed with diabetes

My grandfather is on his last few days (Hospice estimated around a week on Wednesday)

My Libra love had to have a biopsy on a lipoma today.

On the outside, im holding it together but inside I am dying.
How it is all making you Debbie Downer—

It's a black stripe of your zebra life!

Just pray it's the skinniest black stripe on whole zebra!

Everyone who can pray - let's do it for DeeDee! ?

Prayers do wonders. Trust me.

Best wishes and strength for you!

Who's looking out for you and has your back?
It's just me, but it's ok, I got this.

Well it should be at least someone over there in person looking out for you, but I believe you can handle it.

Everyone has problems of their own. My Libra is trying but he is having his own medical stuff. I'm trying to support him.

My ex and his mother keep coming around but our approach to my son is very different. They overreact and carry on like he's terminal. I don't like that and either does he. I'm terrified inside but I would never show that to him. I just tell him that we'll manage it.

I feel most sorry for my mother. She has been running between her sick grandson and dying father. Plus, her mother died 3 months ago.

Sending some positivity your way!!!

Diabetes is very very manageable. I know it sucks to get the news anyhow but this small to a giant. I have this feeling that you have this under wraps.

Make sure your grandad has the best week ever before going home. Make him feel loved and as comfortable as possible.

Give as much support as you can to your love. So many things at one time, you want to try to equally be there for everyone. Don't stretch yourself too thin. When it comes to things like this, I think exhaustion is the main nuisance in all of this. Once you get some rest to sleep on it all, you'll feel like superwoman.

Sorry for the loss of your grandmother.

I find it sad that people have to cover up or frill up life's bs because OTHERS will find it "depressing" or a "downer."

Who the fuck do people think they are dictating that someone else's misfortunes/shitty hand that life dealt them is a downer for THEIR life?

Self absorbed pricks, jfc.

So sorry about your grandfather, m'dear. That escalated so quickly, the poor thing.

You are overreacting to the lipoma. They're usually harmless, so the biopsy should come back negative. I wouldn't stress over that too much.

Which type of diabetes was your son diagnosed with? If it's type 2, that's easier to handle vs type 1. Also something else not to stress over.

Instead of letting some of this stuff overwhelm you, read up as much as you can about these things so it can help you better understand. The more you know, the less anxiety over the unknown.
