we are less than 10 years away from holodeck-like full AI entertainement. It will replace videogames and cinema.
That said AI conversations will never be interesting, it would be like having a forum full of [insert your most boring DXPer name]
TBH when we talk about AI what we talk about is neural networks. I saw this tech starting to be developed in the 80s and I thought it was dumb to try to recreate little insect behaviours via virtual neurons on a computer and that it wouldn't go anywhere. One of the rare times I was wrong about evolution of the world.
anyway the principle of neural networks is that they learn and in reality there is absolutely no superficial difference between an AI and a real internet poster. Well maybe the internet user has an immortal soul that the AI doesn't possess, maybe not.
But with the advent of social media, instagram culture and meme culture the average internet forumer has decreased to a level that makes them not interesting at all, and I'd rather have an randomized AI post than someone memeing about the bear or a pîcture of what they ate for lunch.
so the real challenge for DXPers in the coming years will be to upgrade their interest and attractivity toward other people with a consciousness

Dxp is a dead horse.
I mean it's in the top 3 on Google when looking for astrology threads. I think the idea of forums is dead tbh. I don't think most young people even know what that is anymore.
I’ll always love deeExPuh

I think the only way to save dxpnet is to implement an AI system that automatically creates threads and the OP. Maybe even have the ability to reply to people, though in reality they would be nothing more then soulless accounts that simply work off a prompt. It would at least get the blood flowing around here a bit imo.
