Protein is critical to health, but there is most definitely a risk to excess-protein diets. Especially in today's world where most lead a sedentary life style .

Excess protein may definitely lead of weight gain and even kidney stress. It no doubt contributes to the high cancer rates in excess protein consuming nations.

Be careful where your protein source is coming from.

How does it affect the kidney? @_@
I don't know how healthy you are, but the majority of Americans are unhealthy, and excess-protein diets would just add continued strain on their kidneys as they work to metabolize and then excrete N waste. It's not very complicated, in my opinion, if the majority of your protein is from plant-based foods, you are less likely to run into complications. If you are seeking animal products, be ESPECIALLY snobby about why you allow in your body and keep it at a minimum.

My current weight is within the normal range so I guess I'm healthy... just a little on the skinny side so I wanna work out.

Thank you for all the inputs, btw. 🙂

You're welcome

Good luck

While you experiment and learn, you may make mistakes or "eat the wrong thing, but that's okay. The human body is generally resilient. The more you read, the more you'll learn. Have fun with it
