It happened to me too!

Has anyone else had any problems logging onto this site? I tried to log on yesterday and it would not let me. Stated I was putting in the wrong information. I e-mailed the Duncan Board people to let them know about my problem, but havent gotten any reply yet. Now today it has let me back on with my orriginal log on information. candlegirl has had the same thing happen, that's why she has had to go back to using kennyg (her first ID). I dont know it must be a glitch in their system somewhere I guess. It seems ok now, but I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them? TW2

Nothing personal, they do go out now and then, updating or; what I fear: calculating if they can afford to keep up this chat site for us loonies!
Well, are you game if they request a fee?

Yes I am game, dont want to lose contact with the new friends I have made here on the Duncan Board. There are some really wonderful people here, dont you think? Thanks for the answer Turtle, I think you are most likely right about why it happens.

hi guys,

the dxpnet team has been working on a lot of stuff for the site. a complete rewrite of all the code that makes this site possible, plus working on adding/moving pages with a lot more content. it's been more than two years in the making and it looks (fingers crossed) that all of this will launch by the end of the year.

all this work has led to a lot of slacking on our part when it comes to responding to questions and fixing mysterious bugs. the good thing with this site upgrade is that all the old bugs will be gone. the bad news, there will probably be new bugs introduced.

i just want to thank everyone for coming to dxpnet and for your patience. there's no plans and there never have been plans to charge for the message boards. everything that's free now, will continue to be free in the future.

I agree Duncan is right on target with the scopes. One of the best Ive found, and I have checked out quite a few sites.

Turtle I think calling it our antics, is a very amusing way of putting things to say the least.

Gosh I know it was nice of him. But dont you feel a little like someone has been reading your diary or something. You know that you didn't know was even following things that close if at all. It made me think about all the posts I have done, and it was a kind of (I dont know) not quite sure how I feel, but deffinately off balance from it kind of thing.

I just had no idea that things were monitored that well-wow makes ya think about what ya submit huh? Oh well so now my delusion is shattered that we friends here on this board were just bouncing around talking in our own little world with each other.

I feel soooo exposed, somebody quick hand me a towl, lol! It did supprise me somewhat though as I was under the impression that places like this needed much strickter monitoring safeguards in place. Boy howdy not here, nope! Well the shock will wear off in time, and I will slip back down into my nice tidy little place of denial soon enough again.

It is a real good thing in reality though dont ya think? Well enough trippin about this event, gotta just shake it off. Ya know let it go!

And Parallax your gonna scare the beegees out of me if you keep talking about all that flesh eating alian thing. I am not youg, but am still very impressionable dont ya know for butters sake. Dont want any bad nightmare type dreams later. Check out what I mean! I went to the movies and saw the exhorcist when I was about 17 or 18 and I had bad dreams for a week. I wouldnt sleep alone, would wind up on the floor in my parents room. See impressionable like I said, and coming from a religious background what else would a movie like that do??
