I want to take lessons. Has anyone else tried it? Any suggestions on finding a good dojo?

Just read the reviewsonline or in martial arts forums and only pick an instructor who is part of the IKMF Organisation.
They are the most legit, because they were founded by Krav Maga Founder IMI Lichtenfeld. there are many other Krav Maga Organisations out there, but they just want to make money, IKMF goes all the way back to Israel and its founder.
Its great if you want results fast. Its aggressive and the techniques are VERY easy.

I'm taking Tae Kwon Do now and I have taken Karate, so I have a pretty good back ground with martial arts. The thing that attracted me to Krav Maga was the way it teaches you to disarm an assailant. Other martial arts do not teach you how to do that.

That is why I was curious. There are about 3 or 4 places in town that teach it but only one makes a strong claims to IKMF on their website. They are across town tho, like 30 mins away. There is another place that is around the corner but I didnt see anything about IKMF... I might have to talk to them personally to see.

Best ones are in Israel, so either travel there or find Israel instructor in your place who teaches, Krav comes from Israel background so any teacher or instructor from there should be a decent one.
I will get to Israel one day but not for that. There is one place that says they are Israelie but they are 30 mins away and it would be hard to get there often.
Wing Chun is far more useful and superior.
