Do we attract what we want, or what we need ?

I always atrack what I want. Different people at different times depending on what I want to or I am interested at that moment.
Maybe what you want and what you think you want is different and it gets mixed?

So there is no something like pattern in your lover or friends?
Something always in common, you know? Something weird that no one will even think about (like first child thing lol)
I know what I want, and what I need
But I attract that weird type who will ask me to marry them when I don’t even know them. (Happened to me about 4 times... and I know it’s not normal at all)
But the lovers always the first child and always talk care of the whole family (damaged relationship with the father)
One of them was extremely abused by his father, I tried to save him but I failed:/

The only patern will be good looking popular guys that all girls like and want and for some reason they fall in love with me and they think I am the one.

Posted by EllygantHistorically, I attracted what my mother always described growing up as broken birds. People who were wounded. In similar ways to me. Or similar enough I could empathize.
Then I went through a time in my life where I craved stability for stabilty’s sake. Attracted that in friends and lovers. It was more about me wanting stability than it was about me being there for them though.
Then went the opposite. Wanted chaos cause I chose to leave stability and didn’t think I deserved it. Attracted chaotic friends and lovers.
Last couple years I realized shit was off. Dig deep asking myself why I wanted what I did and what was really good for my soul. It required letting go of a lot of safety, a lot of comfortable habits and a helluva lot of dreams I thought I always wanted.
Lately I’ve been attracting the dopest folk. New friends. Old friends who have changed in the same ways I have. New job. New type of romance. Life doesn’t look like what I expected a year or two ago. It’s better than I imagined. So to me, external circumstances are merely a reflection of a person’s internal reality.
I love that, I really need to do this, like I'm really tired of being with people who does not understand me

To be honest... my family is very crazy. But I love them, Jupiter in 4th house shyt.
I can’t run away from them, it will completely destroy them.
But I run all the time from crazy people
My problem is that people around me does not understand me, when I ask for “me time” they keep coming till I just talk ... maybe I need more bounders idk.
I know they do this because they love me, but I feel like I’m gonna lose my mind.
If I hide for fking day they will go crazy looking for me 😢
I hide one day from my ex crazy gemini, then He hacked my phone

I don't think that's true. I didn't want some of the things that have happened in my lifetime to happen.
I do think similar to what others have said, we attract what we put out into the universe. If you feel you don't deserve things or people then you will attract those that will abuse or mistreat you or even subconsciously seek those types out. Self
Fulfilling mindset so to speak- so you reinforce those negative thought patterns.
Once you find your inner self and see you do deserve the best, so will others.

Believe me, I have lived a life for a long time where family, friends, and women were just burdens. You can love all of those people, but sometimes you just have to love them from afar. There are people who will live their entire lives existing on your shoulders and suppress you mentally, emotionally, and physically. It lasts as long as you say. Would you like to know how quickly your whole life can change. Save a little money, change your phone number, and buy a bus ticket. You can even have a job waiting for you to start work at the destination city you decide to go to if you're really organized. Some people desire so much to get away from the life they're living they leave with simply a suitcase. Anyone who has ever done it knows the moment you change the town or city you live in to a new one, is the moment your whole life changes. You can be free to be whomever you want. By just leaving you are giving yourself the opportunity to freely define who you are by yourself...
Everyone behaves that way because you've allowed it to occur for so long, everyone is comfortable with it except you... If you're in a hyena pit and the hyenas bite you consistently and nothing has ever happened, why would they stop?? Your life has to be about you to the point where you have balance and peace at a minimum.

I think I flip flop between wanting to feeling total wanted and needed in a relationship to wanting more space.
I want to feel secure with my relationship, so I go for someone who is super needy. That smothers me so I go for someone whose more distant (which excites me)...

I wish I knew. I attract all types. I have independent strong friends, clingy ones, jealous ones, had them all really. And it’s been the mostly the same with relationships.
I attract possessive people. Usually. Well, I don’t know. I’ve only been in 3 serious relationships and 2 out of 3 were like that. If I count everyone I was with for 2 months, 6 months, one week, etc, it’s all kinds.
I don’t know why anymore. I’m getting confused. I feel like I know what I want now and that makes it even harder to find. It feels like a vicious cycle.

Haha it keeps things nice and stable, which I like, but tbh it makes me feel self-conscious because I feel like deep down, I'm probably the crazy one in comparison to them. 😛
