A brush up on Mafia Rules

In each Mafia game you get a role. You will either be mafia, a townie, or a 3rd solo player. You will either get a power with your role, or be a regular townie/regular mafia member with no personal powers. (During the Mafia League though every player has a character with different secret powers) There will be various themes and roles with each new game.

Every night period the Mafia PMs me someone they would like to kill. Everyone else who has a night power will also PM me what they would like to do or who they would like to visit.

At the start of the next day period, if someone was killed the night before, it will be posted.

Also during the day period, if you have weapons you can PM who to use the weapons on.

Also during the day period townies are supposed to vote for who they perceive as mafia (or a 3rd role) to get that person lynched. While mafia is to try and create confusion to save their team. The person with the most votes will be lynched.

In mafia games during the Mafia League, you only win if you are alive at the end when your team wins.

*Please do not use screenshots of PMs. That is cheating and if you see anyone doing it please report them so they can feel my wrath. TY.

The first game's time frames will be as follows:

Night #1: Tonight

Day #1: 12:30 pm EST to 430 pm EST tomorrow

Night #2: 430pm EST to 6:00pm EST tomorrow

Day #2: 6:00pm EST to 10:00pm EST tomorrow

Night 3: After 10:00pm EST tomrrow

And just as an aside, remember that if you don’t vote two weeks in a row you don’t get to vote the third day. So just in case there might be a legitimate reason not to vote the next day you might as well use your vote on someone, especially if it won’t have an impact. Like when someone’s already going to get killed anyways. There’s actually a lot of reasons to vote for someone even though it might not seem important from another player’s perspective. But naw, gotta fly off the handle over something that didn’t even effect the outcome for you anyways

I'm a straight shooter and i am saying this with respect to you and not from any place of malice or anything.

You seem to take some of this way personal and seem to be getting upset with how others are playing the game, just like you are playing the game. Just keep in mind, you don't know what is being said behind the scenes and there are layers upon layers to this game with all these special powers. Things may appear one way when its really different in the game thread. No one went out of there way to intentionally kill you, or rom, or GC .. etc.. People fuck up and make mistakes.

I can only speak for myself, I voted tonight out of my ass and well to force a tie because i wasn't sure what role you had, i had heard you where a bad guy. i am sorry a townie died, but i wasn't sure if i could ignore voting due to another player locking me up and i wasn't allowed to vote.. so i would have missed 2 days i a row., again sorry you died.

I mean this in a helpful way, you need to learn to ignore those that are egging you on because that is what happens in mafia. I swear i do not understand grudges that get carried from game to game and year after year. i play to have fun and 100% understand people lie, swindle, manipulate and say shit in this game that doesn't apply outside of the game. It took me a few games to learn this, i too used to get upset.

Mafia always seems to get the emotions running high. I really dont know why.

I do hate when people are pissed after they die and do try and keep playing. Which is why I made this thread, but I really haven't enforced it yet because they never listen to that rule anyway and its tiring enough hosting this game lol

Like I already said, I don’t care that I got killed. If I cared about staying alive I would’ve just not said anything like last game. I know there’s no way you guys could know for sure that I was telling the truth, I’ve already addressed this in the game thread and in this thread, and I understand that. It’s part of the game, most of the players are going to get killed every game which is why it’s not a big deal. That’s basically my whole point. I was already at the point of wanting to stop playing so figured this time I’d take a chance and try to speed up the game. Hoping that people would believe me, but even if they didn’t they’d see I was right and know what I’m talking about just like I did in the first game when I called out Saggurl right from the beginning. The reason I brought up me getting killed was because of the difference between what happened in my case (people throwing me to the wolves at the last minute and it actually getting me killed) and just being a little annoyed but accepting it. And on the other hand, everyone else acting like the fucking world is ending when I vote for them even when it had no effect on the results of the vote and there were legitimate reasons to use my vote. Yet still people are acting like I’m the one salty about getting killed lol. Nah, I’m just tired of getting shit on and treated like I’m a fucking idiot no matter what I do in each game so far, even when I wasn’t the one in the wrong. Not by everyone though

Just know that whatever happens in future games I'm not holding it against you.. every game starts a new and I wish everyone would play that way.

I haven't seen the games being mentioned here. All I take from what Valleys is saying is

look at the outcomes of

game 1 and game 2

look at the reaction of those - I don't know who is being mentioned here, saggurl or whoever, I don't care because I wasn't there - who lost game 1

and look at Valleys' reaction to accept his loss in game 2.

If you guys put away the stereotype of Valleys being a baby seal in need of a hug, you can see which players can be trusted to put logic over feelings and play the game the right way.

Only reason I'm clarifying this is because it could save everyone a shedload of headaches going into game 3.

This current game should go to us townies. After that nothing from game 2 is irrelevant going into game 3.

Like I already said, I don’t care that I got killed. If I cared about staying alive I would’ve just not said anything like last game. I know there’s no way you guys could know for sure that I was telling the truth, I’ve already addressed this in the game thread and in this thread, and I understand that. It’s part of the game, most of the players are going to get killed every game which is why it’s not a big deal. That’s basically my whole point. I was already at the point of wanting to stop playing so figured this time I’d take a chance and try to speed up the game. Hoping that people would believe me, but even if they didn’t they’d see I was right and know what I’m talking about just like I did in the first game when I called out Saggurl right from the beginning. The reason I brought up me getting killed was because of the difference between what happened in my case (people throwing me to the wolves at the last minute and it actually getting me killed) and just being a little annoyed but accepting it. And on the other hand, everyone else acting like the fucking world is ending when I vote for them even when it had no effect on the results of the vote and there were legitimate reasons to use my vote. Yet still people are acting like I’m the one salty about getting killed lol. If you haven't Read the entire game thread, how can you give this opinion, other than basing it off what's within this thread. Which we both know folks will share their view of things Vs what may have happened, escpially in mafia.

I actually thought game 2 has been way tamer than game 1 reactions. game 2 people are being closed off and not really playing out in the open.
