I know she seems to be suffering so much these days... yet I think we are not yet prepared to let her go. I didn't spend much time with her nor have had many memories of her. I will surely miss her though... I think it's still way too soon. I know she's already very old and very tired (already)... she's our last grandparent surviving. π’
I keep on noticing her scars... makes me feel really sad. π’
I'm still in the "denial" stage. I thought she's going to reach a hundred years. Seems so unlikely now. I think she's just waiting for that "time." Hmmm... I don't know. I don't like thinking about death but it seems very likely that she's going to die anytime soon. I just hope she passes away gracefully. π’
I don't want this year to be sad... I had very high hopes for this year since this year is the first one when I've made a successful new year's resolution. And oh... how we still look forward to the day our grandma comes with us to our planned new home where she gets a really good room for herself. Looks like that's not gonna happen anymore. π’
I'm a lil bit happy today. Grandma seems a little stronger than a week ago. Hope she gets better and stay longer. π

It's nice that she's tied to her partner like that
What do you mean, Tiz? π You mean, my lolo/grandfather?

Indeed. I have a Teta here who is still tied to her husband after he passed away in Lebanon. She writes entire books about him and their travels together.

Amazing love story! π
But lol my grandparents had arranged marriage. Good thing, it worked! They were married until my lolo's death and my lola has not looked for another partner ever since. They bore 8 children. Amazing, isn't it?

She's been bedridden since last week. We couldn't understand her anymore. She can't speak properly. She's been dreaming about her husband (our "lolo", our "grandfather") every once in a while. Our grandfather died in 1995. She thinks he's just outside our house "waiting for her."
This is giving me "goosebumps." I'm scared that our "lola" is going to die anytime soon. I still don't know how to cope with this. We're surely going to miss her. I don't like deaths. It always gives me WEIRD emotions. Sometimes I don't even know how to feel about it... but it's probably going to happen... That's why I always make it a point to talk her every day. I haven't even spent much time with her. I don't know. It's way too soon. π’
