^That's a good question. As much as I prefer being up at night, it's somewhat irksome when that's not the norm. Overall though, I would say I enjoy being a nightowl.

And same here, I've always wanted to work graveyard shift. I get all my best work done at like 3am anyway, it's crazy.

Yep, major insomniac here, pretty much the same experience as a child. As of late my philosophy on trying (and failing) to get to sleep on time has just been "fuck it".

i can't remember when i went to bed like a normal person lol.

do you guys even "prepare" for bed. i gave up on that. just drag myself to the bedroom. plonk on the bed. often i just fall asleep on the couch.

Yep. Well, not shopping, considering my entire neighborhood shuts down at like 10PM, which blows.

Not yet, lol. Hoping to eventually though, I love travelling.

Travelling = another thing that's way more fun to do at night (because then you have an excuse for sleeping all day).

Michigan's aight. We're getting into fall so the temp is gonna drop hella fast pretty soon. But fall is really pretty though so I don't mind it.

Not entirely sure if I count as nocturnal in the formal sense of the word, but for the most part, yep. Seriously, me at night >>> me during the day.

Cold weather is the best, part of the reason I love fall so much. And yeah, it is really pretty. When the leaves turn that dark purple color, yesss.

The temp's so sporadic here, one minute it's freezing, the next it's burning. Ugh.

haha. oh. I didn't think you had much of a temp change over in Cali. Or a fall for that matter.

We do in norcal at least. Plus, it depends on where you go. Say you go from SF to Oakland, it's like stepping out of Antarctica and into freaking Kenya.

I guess maybe it's cause when I went to Cali, I believe I was in Sacramento and there were quite the number of palm trees. I didn't really imagine palm trees to be the type to loose their leaves but, idk. That's good to know that you're not missing out on it though. :]

I pretty routinely do all the things you mention. I go to a gym 3-4 times a week. If I go there "early," then I am there around 10:30 PM. I am there around 2 AM at least once a week. I tend to shop at Walmart because 1) it is open all night, and 2) it is quite close to the gym I go to.
I don't drive around much, I do on the other hand walk, matter of fact, I walk about 1.5 miles to my gym, rather than driving to it.
Yard work, I don't do much yard work. I do assorted domestic things though. I tend to watch Craig Ferguson. His program ends at 12:45 AM. Yup, Craig F is over, time to get on with the rest of my "day."

Ahh, that explains it. I'm posted in Berkeley, and unfortunately we don't have too many palm trees here. Sad, they're great trees. 😢

Nope, I live in a crappy* apartment with my roomie.
*Good crappy, not bad crappy. You know, that crappy where it's like really low quality but in a kind of charming way and at first you hate it but then you really like it and I'm rambling here nevermind.
