..... some will die. That's how things are naturally.

Plus side is that cats keep snakes away.

I'm not the one who has a problem with how nature works. *** see other posters here who don't actually get it.

I live in Rattlesnake Holler, and trust me, the snakes are in abundance. They swallow little kittens all the time. Or at least, that's what it looks like is in their mouth.

The other county can't help me because of jurisdiction, so I called my county again, and then again ... finally, I got their attention when I told them I have no choice except to exterminate them myself. They conceded and said they will take 2 cats per week. It will take a while, but, at least they are cooperating.

I'm HAVE to start with the two little boys, who are ready to drop their nut sack ... the alpha male will kill them, or run them off.

Thank you for the advice. I will call around to see if anyone needs mousers.

I'm sorry to say the most humane way to deal with this may be to put them to sleep. Unfortunately, According to a friend of mine and my father, who were both brought up on farms, they have to be very careful not to have too many feral cats around, as they may otherwise easily get infected by cat plague, which apparently spreads faaast.

I am really really sorry to have to say this. I have no personal knowledge of the topic, but it's something I've heard so many times and it has really stuck to my mind as it sounds pretty darn horrible.

Good luck dealing with this! It can not be easy!

I know HappyCapper, that is the conclusion I came to. I know I have to exterminate them. One has already hurt one of my pets. Luckily, he's had a rabies shot. But, I haven't and neither has my husband. If that cat had bitten one of us, then the situation would be dire.

I live in Shenandoah, which is a valley of farms. In on the mountain, though, so I'm wooded here ... and the animals are very thick here. If the cat who bit my pet has rabies, it could very easily spread it to other animals around. Mainly, raccoons carry rabies a lot in this area ... and raccoons are fearless. They aren't in fear of humans and people get rabid raccoons on their property all the time. Luckily, we haven't experienced that, but, the man on an adjoining property has. It was quite terrifying.

Thank you for the sound advice. And it is the answer that seems appropriate for the situation.
