Remember your senior year...

Remember when you were a senior in high school, and the two weeks before graduation there was the infamous "Prom".

What was the scene, music, and dance style during that time?

Back in the day, when i was a junior, we had a live band and shortly after there was a dj set up and this was the last song of the event...

You guys stayed the whole time for your prom?? I was out after the first lame dances were over....couldn't waste all that valuable 'drinking in a cheap hotel room' time!
I'm sure they played 1999 though (same as Leo Lady) as 1999 was the year I graduated 🙂

When i was a senior, i ditched prom and just went straight for the sex (I made her orgasm three times!!!), and my gal (at the time) and i went straight to the after party's at my home boys house!

You didn't miss an awful lot Jase. I had infinitely more fun at the huge dance during culinary competition. 🙂

i wasn't allowed to go to prom but i did manage to sneak off to the gay prom. lots o' fun!

We were the Sailors, so our senior song was "Best I ever had" by Gary Allen which came out that year

They played this at mine:

I'm not even kidding. I think the last song though was "Sit Down" by James. To which we all sat on the floor one behind the other legs out waving our hands in the air from side to side in time to the song. That was how it was done "back in the day" though. And we were of course completely wankered having snuck alcohol in. Actually most people were already half cut before they even got to the dance.
