I applaud you for even watching it, Shakka.
Most tall dudes would watch like 30 seconds and be like, i dont have that problem.
Fuck this.

I believe in Heightism. No doubt, especially here in the USA. Especially when it comes to paycheck.
Thats probably why America looks down upon (no pun intended) the latin immigrants, imagine if these immigrants were all averaging 6'2".....then they certainly might be taking the "real good jobs" not the imaginary good jobs that they actually are taking like, bathroom attendant, port-o-potty cleaner, dishwasher, landscaping, bus boy, etc....

Like i have stated before, im only 5-8 and my earliest high memory of my height being mentioned was when some girl in class asked another girl, if she thought i was cute. And her response was, and I quote...."yeah, Walt is fine, but he is too small."

I have never forgotten that. I was probably 5'5-6" in high school. I got respect cause,

1. I was excellent at tackle football.
2. Back then, it was considered "cool" to be from the ghetto.

Otherwise, im sure I would have been a target of teasing. Unbelievably enough, other students (who you and i would have considered the 'cool' crowd) didnt fuck with me or bully me---probably cause I hung out with them.
But i remember other short guys being teased and i always felt bad cause it was like my secret hang-up.
So be nice to short people. And be glad if you are 5-10" to 6"+, be very happy cause you will get better jobs, better pay, co-worker respect, more women to choose from, etc...you have an advantage. So be nice.

And if you are short like the men in this docu, dont worry, there are quite a few actors in Hollywood that are short and it didnt stop them. Height shouldnt stop you, like it did me, i always dreamt of playing in the NFL. But at some point I realized that at my size, it was impossible. Thats what I told myself. Can you imagine my suprise years later when Barry Sanders dominated the NFL at RB!!!
Today I watch Darren Sproles and realize that i was an asshole for letting my height stop me from feeling normal enough to pursue a dream.

I'm short and male. I've been called a nerd and a faggot by people who knew nothing about me but I was never put down because of my height.

Aside from that I've always been treated normally and was liked for who I am and not my size. Being called, "little man" doesn't bother me. Some part of me derives some pleasure from that for reasons I don't quite understand. Truth? Affection? Or maybe because I know I'm still capable of big things.

I dont know why I never really paid much attention to it, back in highschool I never saw the short guys as inferior in ANY manner, in fact I think most of the guys I thought were the cool crowd were some of the

the shortest! I guess from the perspective you're telling things I should feel lucky, Im 6 ft 2 tall and now that I think about it, it probably was a good thing in most stages of my earlier years, heck! I even often flirt around with women on supermarkets just cause they are always asking me to grab something they cant lol I was never bullied back when I was a kid, though I never bullied people either, it was a pretty easy time for me all in all. I was also just too busy with being a good student and sportsman. Im glad my height was a good thing for the sport Ive always played and loved the most..volleyball.

Helping the ladies at the supermarket, nice! When Im at the supermarket, the ladies ask me to help them too, they ask me to test the seat before they sit their kids in it. lol.
Maybe i will walk through the supermarket and offer the ladies help if they need to reach something on the lowest shelf.

Yeah volleyball is the best (after football). It combines three of my fave things....Women, athletics and the beach!!
Dont get better than that.

Anyways im grateful for just being healthy, having all my limbs and senses. I couldnt ask for anything more.
Maybe in my next life i will be tall and i can dunk on some heads. lol.

Its not a cake walk for the taller ether mate. I come from a land where you would be of a little above average for a man most people are around 5ft 2 inch to about 5 ft 8 inch thats the men a lot of women are under 5 ft. I was 6 ft 4 inch by the time I got out of school. I was called flag pool or bean pool did not get respect until I put on a few stone and worked my aris off to make sure it was museal. So not all wounderful up here ether.

ive been short all my kid life and i think ive reached my adult height of 5'6. of course the names and putting peoples arms on my head were irritating as a kid but they never made me feel sorry for myself and fall into a world of self pity and diffidence like all these dudes do. the reason why they have 'problems' with attracting woman and every aspect they call a impairment is not because of how short you are(unless you are a midget), but because of the effect it has on your mind, because you let it become a problem. you can compare it to fat people- sure they can lose the weight and solve their confidence that way, but they could just as well remain the same weight or even gain more weight and have the confidence that they would have if they were skinny. its all in your mind.
