My brother did an experiment. He got two pounds of Skittles candies and seperated them by color. He then took empty 20 oz soda bottles and filled them 3/4 full with the Skittles. Red in one bottle, green in another, etc. Next the bottles were filled with vodka and closed. For the next 24 hours they just sat. The skittles dissolved and a thick film (mostly sugars) developed in the top of each bottle. Once the skittles were mostly dissolved, he poured the concoction through a coffee filter to get the remaining Skittle bits and the sugary film out of the liquor.

The result was delicious! The flavored vodkas weren't bad by themselves but we decided to mix them. Fanta makes flaovred soda, strawberry, grape, and orange... these were excellent mixers. We also used Sprite.

Skittles come in five colors so we mixed five drinks.
Yellow Vokda - Sprite
Green Vodka - Sprite
Red Vodka - Strawberry soda
Orange Vodka - Orange soda
Purple Vokda - Grape soda

These were some of the smoothest mixed drinks I have ever had. We mixed them about 50/50 and they tasted just like Skittles. We got fucked up last night. We each drank about a fifth of Vodka.

Oooh.. I'll have to try this 😄

Reminds me of something I heard about flavoring moonshine.. mix a packet of Kool-Aid (unsweetened) in the jug of 'shine.. apparently, it's awesome.

I have done the gummy bears before but I don't care for them. They "worked", but they are still gummy bears...

I've also done Jello shooters. Those work very well also and they taste good.

But yeah I was surprised how well the skittles thing worked out. You really should try it sometime.

Yes ToC, we just used regular skittles. My son suggested we use Jolly Ranchers, "Because they have watermelon".

And yes, RealTalk... we got wasted really quick cause it went down so smooth.
