skydiving

im so excited.....tomorrow im going to jump out of a perfectly good airplane.lol no tandom crap here....after a six hour course i get to go by myself.....with audio support though. ive wanted to do this for years. has anyone else jumped before?

Hi CJ7 - well done and I wish you the best for tomorrow.

I did this way back about 10 years ago for charity....I remember my mother thinking I was nuts and that her only daughter...would certianly die that day - for sure!!!

Her didn't of course!!!........before I got on the plane I suddenly panicked and wanted to run home as fast as I could.
But once on it, a strange, quite calmness took over, almost a high....when my time came to do it, I just did it.....free-fell and suddenly whoosh....it went up and before I knew it I was on the ground......another pal who did it though broke his leg - whatever way he landed.....so try land like they instruct you......

After it too, it feels great............you'll be on a natural high for the rest of the day..............

Wow, that is a scarry thing to do, well it would be for me anyway! I have never even thought about doing something like that because I am kind of afraid of high places.

My little sister did it once though, she said she was scared to death but did it anyway. She said she was glad that she did it though.

damn it....i did the whole six hour ground class and stuff but it was too windy for anyone to jump sat. and sunday was just plain ugly with rain. i have to go to tampa next weekend ....so now its gonna be two weeks before i get to jump. i hate waiting!!

well atleast all the information stuff is out of the way. now i just have the seven jumps to make.

You did not say you were going to have to jump seven times, yikes! Wow I am just not that brave at all, you would have to push me out of the plane to make me do it. Imagine a cartoon charactor hanging on with finger and toenails to the open door of the plane while being pried off of it (that would be me)lol.

Really though sorry the weather stopped your jump, and I know waiting sometimes is a real bummer. But you will savor the experience so much more because of having to wait. Please do be careful cj as I dont want anything to happen to you ok. Watch that landing also please (no broken legs ok).

Well anyway you take care and have a good trip to Tampa, see you later guy.

Sorry to hear that darn wind stopped you CJ7 but hey, everything happens for a reason.........so continued good luck when next you try.......enjoy Tampa....:-)and don't do too much tampa-ring!! with the opposite sex or you will lose your stamima for your big jump!!!:-0
