He was dumped by a previous girlfriend, she found someone else and left him, he was devastated for quite some time. After quite a while he finds new girlfriend and they get serious and move in together. He seems over the ex but they keep in touch and remain good friends. The ex goes over to their house when they have parties, it's all good and civilized.
