What's the longest amount of time you would let pass before texting someone back? Is it ok to text first? Do you reply to people who frequently use one word emoji replies? Would you message someone back if they didn't respond to your last message? If you are friends with their siblings would you ask about them? Or just let go?

I don't text back. If you're a friend or my sister I'll call to make sure you're still breathing after a week or so, especially if it's not like you to not respond. Anyone else, I'll leave it alone. When or if we talk I'll ask "what's up", if the conversation lends to it.

No. I find it lazy. I'm not one for texting to begin with, so if you're sending me one worded response I won't bother reading any more of your text or putting energy into you.

Nope.

Nope. I don't bring other people in my life into my relationships. If the person isn't responding I 'm not going to start doing any detective work through family members.

I always tell myself not to worry about how many texts I send when it comes to friends, family and my boyfriend because I'm usually pretty distant and make up for it by sending multiple texts. In saying that, I regret sending so many now and feel I should be mindful about keeping it short and sweet... now I'm over-analysing lol
