The power of intent in healing
Posted by BoomShakalakaBoomJust sharing something remarkable that happened today and wondering if anyone else has done something similar?
My Libra had the worst possible neck/shoulder/upper back pain today, it was so bad she could only keep in one position in bed, otherwise she'd just cry and scream in agony.
She asked me to rub some tiger balm on the affected area's, and as I went to lay next to her to do it, I suddenly got the compelling feeling that I should just forget about the tiger balm and just lay my bare hands on her applying some pressure, which I did, for about 30 min, eyes closed, in my mind I really had this vision that it would help her somehow. I noticed it instantly relaxed her, so I thought I'd just keep doing it. She then fell asleep and I left the room. About 20 min later she woke up all happy and excited and told me around 80% of the pain was completely gone now, needless to say I was speechless! She has always said how she thinks I somehow have "magical hands" and that I have nice hands, which I never really took seriously, but well, as a Virgo we are good with our hands, never thought this way though. I'm still kinda stunned about the whole thing.

Hmm, yeah who knows? I have never been one to consider myself "more spiritually aware than others" like you see with all these quasi-guru's on social media, but I do believe, like you said, each of us have certain spiritual gifts that can be unlocked given the right circumstances. I am aware of Reiki btw, but somehow didn't really make the connection to it with what happened yesterday.

Not really, but I do have Merc in the 12th house (Virgo's ruler, my sun sign) and Chiron in Gemini in the 8th house (Merc as you know also rules Gemini) which is supposed to be a potentially good (sexual) healer.

Energy healing is very powerful, I've been practicing it for years. I'd put my hands on our son's head when he was a kid and his energy would instantly change. It works very well on animals too 👍

I get the same pains when I'm tense. Nothing will usually help except breathing exercises.
There's no magic or voodoo behind it.
Maybe, maybe not. There isn't conclusive evidence to discard either theory.
