Are better left as hobbies. Because if I were to allot them anymore time or head space, they'd loose their appeal.

In a way i agree with OP

but when we say have a career option you are passionate about , to me it means something in sync with our nature.

My definition of "passion" is something you enjoy so much you can do it everyday and it never gets old or stale because you love it so much. It's your reason for living. I feel this way about art. Since, IRL, I surround myself with other artists we're always inspiring each other so nothing ever becomes dull or routine. Creativity is an unending adventure.
