If there's anything these folks need to learn (other than staying HOME), it's
DON'T PUT YOUR DAMN FOOT ON THE BRAKES!!!! 😕
Yeah weather "experts" really blew this one. Told all of us that we would just get a light dusting and that everyone more south would get up to 4 inches of snow and ice. They even said it wouldn't start until the afternoon and warned us to not be out that night because of a freeze warning.
Welp here I am with an hour of sleep at my desk adding people to a stranded rescue list on facebook.
I really hope I can drive home at noon but they're saying maybe. Ugh. I hate snow. I like to look at it I just know that this area never prepares for it. They even sent all the trucks down further south because of the misread report.
Poor babies ....
Part 1
It was insane. My friend is from Vermont and she said she has never seen anything like it. Ice within 30 minutes. NO compacted snow. Ice. I'm glad it's over.

Should be interesting. Especially video's of I-10 drivers in Louisiana and all southern states for that matter being hit by snow/ice.
You'd think that since it's so rare (weather) they would just stay home for one day. Nope..
The slow motion replays and you tube videos will be aplenty. 😄
