I think it affects people differently tbh, like some people smoke, get the fear if they're out and about or somewhere unfamiliar, then it puts them off for life.
I remember wwwaaaayyyy back getting the fear briefly on occasion, but at the same time this is when friends and I would try silly shit like a 'rising knock out' or throwing a 'whitey' , then having to walk home. 😢😛
(this was waaaaayyyy back in the day though, like experimenting at 16 or whatevs)

My brother had that fear, and he just doesn't wanna know the shit anymore.

We have "chill" time...but it's not the same as others.
My chill time is like painting my toe nails, going to the beach alone to pick up shells, or giving myself a facial.
We're still doing something. Always make use of our time. 🙂

Either I'm sick, or depressed.
