I noticed that a lot of people on this forum like to throw around terms. Like "narcissist"...read that one a lot last weak from the folks who are jealous of my e-power 😛

Now if you don't know, I believe that virgos are by definition, psychopaths. But moi, a narcissist? HA! The internet can be quiet deceiving. Anyhoo, I found a test.

How did you score?

http://www.oprah.com/relationships/The-Narcissistic-Personality-Inventory-Dr-Drew-Pinsky<BR>
If you score 20 or higher on the test, it's highly likely that there will be one or two components on the inventory that are predominant in explaining your score. If you find that most or all of the answers that earned you points pertained to one or two specific personality traits, consider focusing some attention on these characteristics, which are likely, at the very least, to be dominant aspects of your personality.

Let's say your overall score is an 18, but your high score is largely the product of your higher results in the superiority category. You might consider monitoring this trait in your daily life by paying attention to your feelings of superiority, how you tend to express them, and what effect they seem to have on other people. Then, try to let go of your feelings of superiority, and see whether other feelings, such as fear or anger, emerge in their place. Own these feelings, but try to stay aware of what the other people in the conversation are experiencing in that moment. What are their motivations? Are their points of view in any way valid? Does acknowledging their feelings somehow make you feel diminished? (This is common; you might consider it the flip side of envy.) Understand that what you're experiencing is just your feelings; they don't necessarily reflect reality, or even what the other person is experiencing.

As you move past any of the feelings represented by the categories in the NPI, you'll generally experience a certain amount of anxiety or discomfort. You may feel vulnerable or even attacked by the other person with whom you're interacting. Hang on; usually, this will pass. However, be aware that any time you're dealing with narcissistic tendencies, aggression is always right around the corner. You may actually start feeling exactly the opposite of the feeling you're working on. For example, as you work on acknowledging your feelings of superiority, you may find feelings of inferiority creeping in. You're not going to like these feelings, but stay with it. The object is to start creating a more realistic appraisal of reality without the distortions created by your narcissistic traits. The fact is that, no matter what you're feeling, you, yourself, is neither superior nor inferior to the other person.

on a side note...

Are YOU a Psychopath?

This is a story about a girl.

While at the funeral of her own mother, she met a guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing, so much the dream guy that she was searching for that she fell in love with him immediately.

However, she never asked for his name or number and afterward could not find anyone who knew who he was.

A few days later the girl killed her own sister.

Question: Why did she kill her sister?

QUOTE this post to see the answer...

Answer: She reasoned that if the guy appeared at her mother's funeral, then he might appear another family funeral.

If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was a test by a famous American psychologist used to test if one has the same mentality as a killer. Many arrested serial killers took part in this test and answered correctly.

NOTE: This is not a true test, according to Snopes. "As a quick 'n' easy way to separate the sheep from the murderous goats, it wouldn't work." However, it has been proven to work.

astrologically, people with the following are crazy. there are a few of them on dxp and yep...they're NUTS!

Moon Opposite Mercury: You're clever, overly sensitive, restless, cunning, astute, high-strung and sarcastic and you can also be underhanded and a gossip. You have an interest in health, which may suffer due to improper diet and/or hygiene or from being fanatical about personal and domestic cleanliness. You may experience confusion and irritation in social relationships, especially in family communications.

You tend to be unreasonable since your feelings often cloud your judgment. Your subconscious forgets to use common sense and reason and your impulsive speech can cause you much suffering. You must avoid gossip -- if you're a victim of gossip, it's repayment of a karmic debt -- and criticism -- you tend to take criticism too personally.

You're loyal to friends and a defender of the underdog. You tend to waste money on trivial household items. You annoy family and friends by worrying about them too much. Women may be so boring that friends avoid them. You must learn to compromise and gain control of your ego.

Really? I get the superiority part but I do not exploit people, it's their choice to do what I want!

What a boring score. :/

On a side note.. I did NOT "get" the funeral question, and usually I'm very, very good at riddles and logic puzzles. I read it 4 or 5 times and still felt like I was missing some key part of the puzzle that would tell me the answer. It was frustrating. So I "quoted" Tubby to see the answer.. and there it was... seemingly so logical and point-blank and obvious, once I knew the answer... but I couldn't see the connection first?!

*stares* PP knew it right off?!... *backs away slowly*

Astrology can not be proven in mathematics.
Astrology is put fort as a form of science by astrologers.
I can find no multiplicative idenity element in astrology.
I find it to be an intangible.
I have tried to bring astrology to a reduction in mathematical form.
I find no interrelation, combination, generalization or abstractions of space configuration no structure.
So you tell me what is to believe in?

Heh I got a 31. I even re did it to swap a few borderline questions and still ended up with a 31.

It just means we're full of ourselves and love it. Nothing wrong with that *strut*
