i think hellraiser movies are really creepy
VERY good choice, I think I'll have to watch that again over the Halloween holiday. It was real creepy.........Frank just should have left it all alone! This is a GREAT clip to.

I did want to hijack the Halloween thread so starting this topic. What is the scariest movie and movie scene ever for you?
Post your clip here. This movie scared the living daylights out of me. Just watching this clip gave me chills!
that's a scary film for sure, even more so when your in your bedroom in the dark and alone. but i found the grudge (remake) to be chilling! and that new last exorcism film that just came out. that was a different kind of scary
That is what makes it terrifying to me. That it was based in fact. The bucket of blood gore fest moves are frightening, but when it's based in reality it's more twisted yet. And agreed, far more scary than the remakes.
All chick flicks are spooky.
HAHAHHAHAHAAAA. Hold my bag, and give me a tissue. ๐
The Hills Have Eyes. Still makes me shudder thinking about it.
Also, Descent really stressed me out.
I forgot, the original "Poltergeist". Though 'Scary Movie' did allay that old fear quite a bit. Damned clowns.
Sweet picks! I def. agree with these choices, all very freakayy deeakkayy. Especially Paranormal Activity, Hellraiser, and Poltergeist I.
I must say though... sinister and twisted, playing on the sense of hearing is way more scary to me than a gore fest. Slasher or bloodbath films personally serve more as visually entertaining excitement rather than a true source of fear.
My choice hands down goes with Eraserhead by D. Lynch. Seriously. This movie is the epitome of fucked up, twisted, and morbid. Almost unwatchable, making me feel uncomfortable and strange throughout the duration. Don't know how to describe it.
P.S. Sorry Prince_Pisces, those movie choices are WEEEEAAAK. Minus Amusement, clowns are decently sinister.
Keep posting! I don't know about you all but I'm have a great time seeing all these old clips from movies I haven't seen in years.
The realistic slasher stuff though.....can't handle it. I am too emotionally sensitive I think and it makes me sick to my stomach. Hard to say what kind of movie that is but the Aussie clip was one and the Saw movies are like that to. I'm not sure how you categorize though. Hellraiser rocks though and it's pretty realistic but you know it can't really can't happen so I'm cool. Maybe that's what it is...if I know it is something that could actually be happening I get a sick feeling. Am I the only one? I wonder if it is sign specific? Maybe my Cancer Moon?? Thoughts?
