If I am to rank my favorite years, it'll appear this way...
1. 1996 - cousins came over and family celebrated grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary. also lotsa good songs then and artists like jamiroquai, alanis morrissette, donna lewis, etc
2. 1997 - the rise of smash mouth, my favorite band. also a very good year for me.
3. 1999 - very good movies like matrix, star wars, the elections, fantasia 2000, american pie, austin powers, etc. music sucked uggh though but i really enjoyed the countdown to the new millennium. 🙂
4. 2013 - the year i became active on dxp and became friends with you guys. also enjoyed that year very much. nice songs too like blurred lines and happy.
5.5. 2017 and 2018 - tied. I became a lawyer in 2017. 2017 had shitty music though but DXP had renaissance. 2018 was a continuation of 2017 and had lotsa great songs like sangrea wine, etc.
7. 2008 - the year i passed the cpa boards. it has the best american idol season ever. i also met lotsa new friends. yes, im a david cook fan. 🙂
8. 2009 - went to law school. i always feel nostalgic about this year. also, one of the best summers ever. great songs too.
9. 2004 - wow. was playing zelda on nintendo game cube. was one fine year. music wasn't so good. the only good ones were collide by howie day and accidentally in love by counting crows. ohhh shrek two was the bomb too!
10. 2000 - fresh into high school, met many new friends. i joined a pageant and won mr photogenic and mr winsome smile. i was a star that year. it went down this low only because it was quite an unlucky year.
