I was just going to put it in the stock market. There were some tax errors made in my husband and I's first year of marriage so our combined tax return is going to be over $ 6,000 which we still haven't gotten yet as well :/ Ideally we'd just use it for a vacation if it wasn't for freaking covid *pulls hair out*

What else is there to spend in life tbh

I've wanted to build a hardcore gaming desktop but it'd only be for Sims and I barely play that

It's fine. I've got this covered. I'll just use enough drugs and mental manipulation to convince her she needs to be paying me. Those onion farts are a deliciously to some people.

I walked into an Ikea to buy a dresser and ended up getting lost, then finding food to regenerate my tired body. I ate some meatballs, which gave me the strength to find the exit. I still have no dresser, but it was one of the best moments of my life.

When it comes to things, I can't help but desire the extravagant stuff. Like I don't need a closet full of designer things. Give me an ocean view to wake up to 😭 But obtaining the extravagant stuff would require delayed gratification.

True. I can get spend thrifty pretty easily. But I also like to do activities more than collect things overall.

Now if I win the lottery or something I’d give away half to fix a problem in the community but with the left overs I’d definitely set aside like $ 100k and just travel for a year. Ship back all my goodies.

I like buying things when I travel because I get attached to the nostalgia and feelings of being there

Do you also significantly save? Like towards emergency funds and retirement accounts (attempting to max them) or just in small increments and use the rest for expenses and leisure?
