Overprotective seems quite common....my sister who had Moon in Scorpio clashed badly with our mother who she said "suffocated" her...

Daughter’s ex girlfriend - mom abandoned her for years (elementary school age).. moves 4 hours away and leaves her with dad .. no intent on bringing daughter at all. and we wonder why the kid doesn’t feel loved? She’s a Scorpio sun/moon

Guy I dated last summer - Libra sun/Scorpio moon - Neglected by mom and taken away at age 5. So filthy dirty that they had to peel clothes off him. She was an addict. He only saw her once after that. He has attachment issues .. as In attaching to someone brings all kinds of emotional response & he just can’t do it.

Two more Libras with Scorpio placements but Venus/mars not moon .. big mommy issues.

Idk just added that cuz seems strange that all these Libras with Scorpio placements did.

My son has a Scorpio Moon and I have an Aries Moon, I had post partem depression, his dad cheated on me and I left him when my son was 2. My ex was a double Scorp born to an abusive Aries sun Scorpio moon mother. He got most of the physical abuse, and his Pisces sister more mental and emotional. His mother developed multiple sclerosis in her thirties and went quickly from walking to a wheelchair. He helped her as a good son would, and she has since had a remission and has good meds to help her walk again. Since I knew her only in her fifties, it seems she mellowed out some. No physical abuse but extremely careless with her words. He has always been a good son no matter what. And I think shes finally being a better mom.

I have had a strained relationship with my mother for most of my life.. not in particular to any of the things you listed above.. But she has always been quite cold to me. She is not someone I could ever feel comfortable opening up to or talking about my issues to. She is very closed minded and judgemental with a negative personality (I adopted her negative personality unfortunately) I know she cares about me and wants the best for me, but she doesn't seem to know how to show it very well :/ The only nice words I hear come on my annual Birthday card, I always keep them to remind myself that she does think highly of me. I just don't have any sisters so I always wished my Mom and I could be closer like other Mother / daughters that I know.

But for an example.. Recently I left the Libra and am moving back in with my parents for a bit until I can find a place that will accept my dog (he is large, it's hard to find an apt that will accept his size and breed, plus he is 14 and can't do stairs, so I am limited) Anyways.. I wanted to rent a storage locker because I feel bad bringing all my boxes and stuff to their house and taking up their basement.. My Dad wasn't for the idea as he wants me to save money and not waste it on a storage locker. When I talked to Mom on the phone about it and mentioned that I really wanted a storage locker as I didn't want to be an inconvenience to them, her reply was "you're already being an inconvenience by coming back" Obviously that hurt.. A LOT.. I really need my family on my side right now, but she just makes me feel unwanted.. which makes me feel very alone.. like I have no one. But I decided to send her an email and let her know how much that hurt me.. to let her know that I am trying to build myself and my confidence back up after this horrible relationship that robbed me of so many things.. and it's really hard for me to feel good about myself when I am always going back and forth between a place where I am not appreciated or respected to a place I am not wanted. She seemed to respond favourably to this email though, she didn't know how much her words were hurting me, so hoping things will start looking up for us!

She's a Pisces Sun & Moon.

This is a very hopeful story. Im really glad you expressed your feelings to her and I really hope this helps you two to bridge that gap. I feel similarly with my father--so I have been homeless before asking him to stay at his house. I too wish we were closer since he is my only parent left. my moon isnt scorpio but it is in 8th (my pluto is in that house as well). i have a very co dependent relationship w/ my mom. i was her rock during extremely abusive relationships that spanned my entire childhood. everything nice that she did for me, had to be done in incredible secrecy. if she bought me a new dress or toy, she would hide it in the trunk of the car, under the spare tire.

she always maintained that gifts, emotions, happiness, etc, were to be kept very secret & to never tell anyone how you actually feel.

I was thinking scorpio placements in the house of Scorpio are probably more familiar than say ones indifferent houses. I'll admit I've got it wrong.

I love your honesty about your feelings. She probably love you but doesn't know how to show it in the way you need.

Sometimes people say stupid things without meaning it or don't realize the effect their words have on others. Seems she didn't understand she was being hurtful.

I've been in your shoes where I've gone through my darkest moments in life and had nobody to call. It's so hard but in the end you have you and you're strong enough to get through this. Leaving that toxic relationship shows strength and a good step for a happier life. 💪❤ Hopefully she realizes you've been through a hard time and becomes more supportive.

when i first got into astrology, i often confused virgo & scorpio energy.

I think I would struggle to verbalise the difference. But Virgo sort of has that kiddy energy like Aries and to an extent Geminis. To me Scorpios sort of have the Capricorn stoicism. I can never tell if it is my Virgo rising or scorpio moon, but quite often it feels like things aren't good enough.

This has changed recently, the last few times I saw her she was very short-tempered and nasty to me. I've pulled away, don't reach out to her at all. And she hasn't to me either. Never saw this coming, not in a million years. It hurt at first, but I get to the point where if you push me away I stay away...

My Aries/Scorpio Moon ex got way too spoiled by his mom and didn't know any boundaries. He was the pearl in his eyes, even after being such a jerk and disrespectful to her. I didn't get it. Because of it, he got esteem issues, thinks he's GOD and entitled to everything.

I am sorry to hear that. I know how hurtful it can be when a Pisces is cold. I haven't really noticed much change in the recent year, as I have always experienced this with my mother. However there was a point where I noticed it had gotten worse and it was after medical issues. So I do try to be understanding because I know she faces her own struggles, and much like me she keeps her suffering to herself and tries to overcome everything with strength. I try to bear this in mind when she is treating me coldy.. that maybe she is just dealing with her own issues and it has nothing to do with me.. but her words still hurt of course, she is my mother. It's possible that maybe your sister is facing something that requires a lot of inner strength, they tend to withdraw into themselves to overcome these issues rather than expressing it to others. It doesn't excuse her treating you poorly or being nasty to you though.

i appreciate virgo efficiency bc i have too much air in my chart & i require people who will help me get my shit together. i am scatterbrained & frantic af.

i have my own style of efficiency... but i have a sag stellium & aquarius placements so... there is a method to the madness that only i can see. i dont really think i am always right though... i understand other people’s way of doing things, even if i dont agree/ it doesnt work for me.

I would also add for whatever reason both Scorpio and Virgo can make people feel uneasy. With Libra it is the opposite.

I'm happy to be told I'm wrong but I think Scorpio might have the same thing Aries has where it is a need to prove themselves, be the best. Where as with Virgo it is more like seeing something is wrong and putting it right. All three will want to prove themselves at work, but virgos controlling element manifests itself differently.

scorpio & aries, imo, share the same drive that propels them forward. neither will give up until it gets what it wants.

Btw I find both signs deeply attractive and not really ill at ease around them.

I think you know the answer without asking. I think everything is conflicted and I dislike my virgo rising sign when it comes to meeting people as I am nervous all the time.

I also feel I am more sexual than most people I know, but I'm not sure how much of that is perceived and how much is reality. I'm not sure if other people are at ease with it.

I think I'm ok with the Scorpio parts.

I am very sexual too but have decided to reign it in as it was too much. I am actually put off by guys who are overtly sexual on meeting, or can come across as too obvious and don't find that attractive. A quiet smouldering is very attractive. My last lover was nervous, I found that preferable to some loud and inflated ego type. A quiet confidence is very sexy..

My little bro has a moon in Scorpio in the 7th. My dad beat my mom the whole time they were together (19 years). I think I was the only one who actually witnessed it. We all have very afflicted moons. Out of the 3 of us my Scorp moon brother is the closest to my mom and has always been. She was always in her own world dealing with her depression and dealing with my dad, and because of that she neglected us. We all had to take care of ourselves. She also was always angry, and never showed affection towards us. She later on got a boyfriend (now husband) who we all hate, and chose him over her children constantly. She’d come home, drop off food, then leave to her bf’s house and wouldn’t come back til the next day, and would also lie about where she was going. So I was the one who had to pick up all the pieces because she was irresponsible. We got into fights with her husband and it sometimes escalated to almost getting physical many times. My brother was so afraid of him and that living situation that he actually ended up moving out of our home at 16 and moved into my aunts house. Once again, my mom chose him over us and just let him leave, and barely went to visit him. They’re still pretty close, but I wonder if he has any resentment towards her. He’s very closed off emotionally so I don’t really know. I assume because his moon and mars conjunct each other, and I heard if your moon and mars are in the same sign it usually symbolizes issues with the mother. Mine are, and I don’t like my mom despite my cancer moon lol.

My mother has moon in Scorpio. I've talked before about what a great person she is, so I won't go into it. Her mom was a great person too, but she was a very dominating person, Gemini sun, Scorpio moon. My grandmother's mom was also very dominating, and she was known for being an extremely religious and strict bitch.

He is Gemini Sun, Libra moon, were you referring to his moon sign? I find a lot of Libras don't have a problem being direct.
