Apparently my bf’s mom is upset with me because I told her some of the things my bf told me about how it’s unfair she is paying him the same amount his brother is being paid to renovate their new business building, even though my bf is more experienced. Apparently she thought that was my judgment of the situation and she started talking shit about me to my bf about how I don’t have right to judge since I ain’t got a job and that I’m using him for money.

After hearing this I’m apprehensive to spend more time with her. I don’t wanna give her the opportunity to make more judgments about me 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

I always try to understand their point of view first and try to ease the tension with humor and honesty.

If that fails multiple times I simply move on and take the road of politness.

How do I understand her point of view? I was literally tryna explain to her why my bf is upset with them, and she blamed me instead, as if I’m feeding his flames of anger.

I can't control other people so like, whatevs. Not everyone needs to like me. I like me, anyone else is a bonus as far as I'm concerned.

I may talk behind ppl's backs every now and then but I say it to their face as well lol.
