What Does Having an Aquarius Moon Mean

People with an Aquarius Moon tend to be independent, innovative, and emotionally detached. They value freedom and often have a unique perspective on life. Their emotional responses are often unconventional, and they thrive in social or humanitarian pursuits. Understanding this can help interpret their behavior and emotional needs.

this is what i found on astrology.about.com

Keywords: idealistic, witty, imaginative, accepting, rational, compassionate
The Shadow Side: detached, unpredictable, stubborn, remote
Quality and Element: Fixed and Air

Personality Profile:
Those with the Moon in Aquarius seem to have access to the mysteries of the universe through their inner lives. It's as if they know something the rest of us don't. There's an emotionally detached quality to them that gives them a cool head in times of crisis, but can also make them seem as remote as a distant galaxy.

They're notable humanitarians, always trying to reach out to the masses through art, science or a cause. This makes them more oriented toward groups in general, and less comfortable with the intimate one on one. Their orientation toward the collective —all of us?? makes it hard for them to isolate their own unique emotional reality. To put it more simply, many Aquarius Moons don't know how they feel much of the time.

The Moon in Aquarius comes up with the grand ideas, but can have a hard time with the nuts and bolts. Some may find the mundane challenges of daily life, such as paying bills or doing the dishes, to be a herculean struggle. When feeling insecure, they may hide behind a veil of aloofness and try to blend in with the multitudes. Some find connection by simply sitting alone in a public place, such as a coffee shop.

You'll likely find that no matter what you say, you're not likely to find disapproval from an Aquarius Moon. This is why they're sought out by people living on the fringes of society, and are known for being able to soothe the mentally unstable. They're great and interesting friends, with a wholly unique wit and set of opinions.

In romance, it may be hard for the self-contained Aquarius Moon to ever completely merge. They're happy to stick with a romantic friendship, and many of them find partnership later in life. A need for personal freedom keeps them from making ties that feel controlling or limiting in any way. They??ll thrive with a mate that is also taking the road less traveled, and simply wants to include them in the curious experiment of life along the way.

I'm an Aqua moonchild! 🙂 I wouldn't say we are emotionally detached, just hide our emotions really good. The best description I've ever seen about Aqua moons is Alyssa

starlover... could you tell me more about you aqua moon ex? what was his sun sign?

i'm super curious to know... the taurus i'm seeing now has an aqua moon. i mean, so far he is great. he does seem slightly detached in his demeanor, but he's also very open and puts things out on the table well enough that i feel like any aloofness is a surface thing.

We are very straight forward people. We hate game playing!!! We may seem aloof but its because we we always tell you what we think and how we feel, so why should we show you all the time. Plus we will mirror your actions after a while. Meaning we wi be up front and honest with you until you show detachment and start playing games, thats when we shut down.

I have an Aquarius moon, so does the boy I have feelings for and 4 of my other good friends have it too! I find that to be odd. I don't think Aquarius are as much emotionally detached as they are just afraid of showing their true feelings & being rejected or hurt. I know that's my biggest fear pretty much and I never knew why until I looked into this whole astrology thing, now it makes sense. I love my moon sign though 🙂 it's probably my favorite part about me!

I know two Taurus sun sign people with Aquarius moons! They're very open people but at the same time so very distant. They could tell you everything about them but you still won't feel like you really know them. I've found the best way to bond more with them is jokes and laughter and being yourself, to show them it's okay for them to be themselves around you & maybe they'll let their guard down.

Yup, I'm a taurus sun, aqua moon. Detachment is kinda auto pilot mode but we hide our feelings well, I have so many emotions but I just don't know how to feel them so I act carefree lol.

I am a Taurus female with Aquarius moon too.. I get along with alot of people and it's not like I invite them. They just open up to me like they know I am great listener and can give you straight forward and blunt advice.. idk unwanted attention..Lol

I am emotional detached but my cancer rising makes me sooo sensitive and indecisive about love..
