Well, with almost nothing but fire and water, and just Cap in midheaven for earth, trying to lean into the howling cold-wind reality of everyday life is all-consuming. But on a side note, do any of you pisces moon folks feel like the world is particularly sick right now and the potential for something bad happening on a big scale is looming close to us? Right now, I am personally scared by the Ukraine situation, of somebody doing something really stupid-

Something bad has been happening for years and years now. Religious terrorism gaining a stronger presence, a lot of Africa being in constant suffering and poverty, China and Russia being pretty much dictatorships and yet being significant in the world...
The scale doesn't matter. The whole world has been part of a screwed up mechanism for a while now. Another World War is definitely going to happen at some point, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened soon thanks to that Crimea issue.

I heard a few other people being worried of that too, though.

HAPPY PISCES MOON PEEPS 🙂

Funny you'd say that, because I found out one of my classmates is a Pisces Moon yesterday. I heavily suspected it for a while, but that confirmed it. He really comes off as one, too. To be honest, it's not very hard to spot in a class that's mostly Fire and Air moons though.

Now that I'm on a break, I'm realizing how much I'm feeling my Piscean moon. I think I just haven't been tapping into its potential since schoolwork makes me a zombie, and being surrounded by air moons + being a water/air person myself doesn't give me much time to actually look into my own water-ness while also doing work.
I've also been educating myself about astrology a little more. I'm enjoying this break already.

Say, my Pisces Moonies.
What are some pieces of art that appealed to your sensitivity and made you get emotive recently (or recently enough)? Music, films, paintings, anything.

just about any painting done by April Gornick

seriously??_ gives me chills...

Looked it up.
Yes, her art is breathtaking. I'm not about to cry, since I'm tired, but I'm closer to it.
Her landscapes are truly beautiful, and hold a lot of atmosphere.
I like it very much!

Cookies are last-generation anyway. It's all about the chocolate bars now.

atmosphere??_. EXACTLY. love it that you say that. so glad you took a look, but not sure i'm glad it almost got you to tear up. though, i'm not one to talk. i get that way a lot with some works??_ and definitely with hers, though it's not necessarily from a negative emotion. there's something nostalgic about certain landscapes. i can't put my finger on it.

anyhoo??_ 🙂

It's not making me sad. Her art just holds so much emotion that is expressed visually, it's hard to not get moved by it.
I wouldn't exactly call it nostalgia, it's just... a powerful emotion.
But yeah, she's definitely a great landscape artist!

I LOVE Coffee Cake. —

I made one last night-- tried a recipe with sour cream... something I won't be doing again. 😐

Next up-- Holycow Cake aka Better than Sex cake.

Lots of whipped cream, though, Lisabef.

Idk why you'd cut down when you're already consuming a shit-ton of sugar with the coffee cake.

Just enjoy, and moderate.* 😄

*I don't endorse moderation.

It only took me reading 3-4 comments before signing up to comment !

Finish college !!! and why not?

Eyes are like the depths of the ocean. I hate looking people in the eyes often. I'm like walking away you just don't know. It's not that I am attracted to you. I don't want you to be attracted to me and would you believe people went out of their way to make eye contact ?! Yet, those I'd like to protect you *a major perk* feelings sparked up and had a host of people that were trying to be like a parental period, or at least that's what I picked up on. Many marriage proposals during that time too.

another thing about a pisces moon is our imaginations allow us to almost feel like we've had the "real" experience of whatever it is we were imagining.

that's how i end up understanding others so well sometimes... i literally imagine myself in their shoes, and having the imagination of a pisces allows me to simulate in my head (given all the information about their character and how their emotions operate) another person's scenario with close enough accuracy that they know I "get them" and understand their feelings.

This ! I have been able to actually sit in another sign's shoes.

If you were... It isn't hidden anymore. I hid it because it turned out to be untrue. I said I didn't know any Virgo Moons, but then remembered that I do.

I was. 🙂

Not enough posts on our Moon,

so it made me wonder what we

were missing.

I only know a few Virgo moons myself--

thoughtful moon, it seems... meaning

they appear to think a lot.

Or maybe 'analyse' would be the proper

term.

of course we wouldn't blatantly admit that we are negative energy absorbers and that they are able to just walk all over us whether we like it or not, and whether they know of this or not, deep inside we know we've screwed ourselves over for caring too much, etc. deep deep thinkers! waaay beneath the ocean beds there are our thoughts we understand everything and every level...a curse and a blessing

I was embarrassed because my Sag brother has a Virgo Moon and he was (still is) one of my best friends... Lol

I dated a scorpio with a Virgo moon... He was a dream/imagination killer.

Which house is everyone's moon located in?

Mine is in the first. I feel more moon sign most of the time. I've been asked if I'm a Pisces before.

I just read this whole thread again... So much is just bang on the head... Love that Pisces moon description you added way back there, Montgomery!

I dated a Virgo sun like that.

Glad you liked the description!

I did, too-- had to go back and read it again, myself. 🙂

And my moon is in the 11th house.
