Bram Stoker's Dracula (1992)

Anybody else enjoy this film as much as I did? I hear people have problems with the love story, because Dracula is suppose to be all about horror, but as far as I'm concerned the love story makes the film! I love the eroticism of this movie. It's a truly amazing piece of cinema.

Yeah this is one of the few movies where Dracula really isn't the bad guy. That's why I liked it, altough I hate vampire movies, they are laughable. But this movie to me was about being immortal and dealing with the loss of your loved ones (Elizabeth/Mina).

one of my favorite movies! Gary Oldman was brilliant!

omg the two scenes that get me everytime are when Dracula sees Mina for the first time and wills her to look at him. then when he waits for Mina to meet him and he learns she's to marry Harker. so grief-stricken, one can't help but feel his pain.

Oh yes, I love that scene when he meets Mina for the first time, followed by the scene at the 'cinema' where she's pretty much at his mercy. Very dangerous and very sexy at the same time. And the surrealism of this scene is magnificant; intercuts, strange images all-around, and the white fang.
